This is a character from an anime (KiraKira Pretty Cure a La Mode) I haven't seen before - but I'm generally down to draw characters I'm not familiar with as long as either the story is simple/I don't have to write dialog for them, or the script is written by the client :)

It's SCANNING DAY Ya'll!
More accurately, last night turned into "just one more step" in the whole scanning process until the next thing I knew the sun was coming up but I'd finished my goal for today by 7am lol.
This is also the official first batch of the new round of commissions!
SO! First up - the three mini-sequences and continuations:

IDEALLY: Send me the full write-up/details/references of the commission with your initial email, but at the minimum, let me know the above information separately/at the top of the email as well. If I haven't closed yet, I will reserve you a spot, but I only add people to my worklist after I've received payment (and I add people to the list in the approximate order I receive the payment).
My Response: I expect to take on an onslaught of emails, and it may take me 2 days or more to respond to your initial inquiry. I will not begin to respond to any emails at all until slots close. SO: as long as you sent me an email before my slots closed (I will post a time stamp here on the page when they close) then you can assume you got a spot in my reservation list even if you have not heard back from me yet.
As a note, last year when I opened commissions, slots were only open for about an hour and I took on four months worth of work.
I also plan on setting email "work hours" for my own sanity between noon and 10pm CST.
Payment: Once I confirm your slot and/or give you a quote, you may send payment (for at least the first 1/3 of the commission total if working in batches). *
Payment must be received by July 18 (1 week after commissions open) at latest, or else your reservation on my list will be forfeit.
Other Details:
- if you already are commissioning a long-running ongoing sequence with me that is not already paid in full by the time these slots open, please sit this opening out. You can continue to pay on that sequence as usual, however :)
- one sequence maximum per person. (If you are interested in a limited number of non-sequence pieces of art instead, that's also fine).

It's SCANNING day, ya'll! over 30 new pages today AND officially the last batch of art finished up before I open commissions on Friday!
I have now officially completed every project that I've been paid for and I have one whole day off before I reopen ;)
( I will probably take a couple of days off before I start work on new projects - I typically try to budget a week off between finishing old work and starting new, but I cut it a bit tight this time around).
So first off - enjoy 3 new pages of both Equus (which is very near the end) and Captured Barn! Equus still has a bit of credit left for next time, but not enough for a whole new page.

I'm looking through the donation art suggestions for this month, with the plans to work on it tomorrow (Wednesday July 2) - buut I really decided I wanted to take the skull hunter suggestions BUT ALSO allow ya'll to vote on some options for what Eloise will find and turn into this time!
So far, we've had an elasmosaurus and a triceratops anthro.
SO! SUPER QUICK POLL! 12 Hours only! I will close it at 2pm CST July 2 - so I can give ya'll some input but also still start working on it tomorrow lol ^^;
And last but not least before the update day this weekend... a prequel to the Snow Leopard Breeding Program Intern sequence: as the transformation of the male snow leopard already in the program is explored.

So - last but not least for my big scan batch today: I'm surprised that this last commission batch someone requested a style of transformation I'd never actually heard of before: a "demi" transformation, where the skin and hair texture remains the same as the human form!

Since ya'll are on my patreon, I wanted to give you all a different extra opportunity this opening to test the waters to see how this offer goes:
INFO FOR NEXT COMMISSION OPENING:
SLOT OPENING TIME: Friday July 11, 2025 / 4pm CST
However, since you are a Patreon Patron, I will offer you guys a special opportunity!
You can email me (at araniaartist@gmail.com ) the information for the commission you want at any point from July 2 - 7. I will read it over and give you a quote.
You may not send the payment until slots actually open (see above), and I add people to my worklist based on when I receive payment, however, if you send me the commission details, and get the quote, I will guarantee you a slot as long as you pay at least 1/3 of the total commission price within one week of the opening time*.
