I thought it would be smart to draw Emma in her diamond form so she can be longer underwater, but then realized that would be…bad for Namor. Then only her head in diamond form, but realized if water enters her mouth, she would still drown because her organs aren’t diamond. Then I got stressed out and decided idgaf.

This is the most experimental piece I’ve done by far, and one of the pieces I’ve enjoyed doing the most.

I wanted the colors to be highly saturated in contrast with the papers on the background. Also left It really sketchy on purpose, thought it would give it a nice touch.

Laura Hellfire Gala

Third and last Hellfire Gala piece!

I wanted a low contrast and muted colors so the mask could really pop off, make it look kinda edgy, like straight out of a campaign from one of those annoying fashion brands.

I'm feeling more confident with a lighter rendering and color lineart for dark or black clothes instead of going for full render, at least I think it's easier on the eyes.

Dreamer Pride Month!
