#44 - nightmare

This is a very minimalist project, in part because it was kind of an accidental one. I just wanted to mess around with the satyr model, which lead me to Xavius' model, and things just kinda snowballed from there. Minimalism is certainly appropriate here; it helps reinforce this "nightmarish" setting. Nightmare or wet dream tho?

By old I mean from Feb. 2016. For reference I started posting publicly on Tumblr around Jan. 2016 (you can even see my original watermark), so yeah, this is real old.

As you probably know by now, I don't do animations anymore and have no plans to do them ever again, so this is just an interesting look back at a very different time in my creative life. Perhaps this is deserving of a static image remake some day.

scrapped night elf massaging project

This is something I was poking at on and off for about a year or so before really scrapping it for good. The earliest iterations of this project are all the way from ~Jun. 2016, so yeah, they're old.

So what happened here? It's just a case of shifting priorities and quickly moving on to the next hot project, really. Plus I think this project became less and less exciting to me as I started to refine it a bit.

So this fun commission has a bit of an interesting history to say the least.

It starts off pretty simple. Someone approached me for a pin-up commission of his moo, and it was done. Nice and easy. I created two versions for him, with one of them being zoomed out (A1/B1) and the other being zoomed in (A2/B2). He preferred to see the whole body, but I always preferred the zoomed in version. And that was basically his entire commission.

Well I thought I had organized all the scrap I had from #75, which you can see here, but it turns out I had just a few more things to share.
