Saturday Update!

Hi everyone! This will be the last 'official Saturday update' for a little while since I'll be taking December off. I'm going to try and get some more work done anyway, but I won't be home enough to declare it a 'Hunt Month'.

Thursday Update! Saturday is on vacation

Hi everyone!

I'm updating on Thursday this week because I'm leaving town to go to the mountains for a beer festival this weekend, and I'm leaving on Friday morning- cutting my work week short.

Saturday Update!

Hello everyone! It's been another busy week and I'm happy to report that I've made more positive changes to Celia's route, and it's finally shaping into something I can be proud of.

Last week I mentioned that I wanted to add two new endings- those endings are now added and have placeholder art! I also edited and added placeholder art to several other endings.

Saturday Update!

It has been a sickly, yet somehow still productive week!

I started the week off with a pinched nerve in my back that healed pretty quick. Now I appear to be some kind of ill due to a flu shot I got a couple days ago, which is weird but I think it shouldn't last long or be too harsh since it's not the real flu.

But more importantly! It hasn't gotten in the way of my work XD

Saturday Update!

Hello friends! It's update time!

It's been a fairly hectic week [ the transition between months is always really busy for me with financial crap and stuff :/ ] But I did manage to get some stuff done.

I've written up and designed a Help page that explains the general idea behind the game as well as the game mechanics [ Map, Inventory, Actions, and an in depth explanation of the Status screen with what all statuses mean and how they can affect your character ]

The Empty Map

A quick show of the action transformation language animation for the map once the player has run out of sanity in the desert! [ No sound ]

I know it's not an update day but this came out nice and I wanted to show it X'D

Animation in Renpy is pretty annoying, but worth it when you want some special effects. You basically have to write out the code for every little image switch or movement. 

Still, quite rewarding to look at once it's done!

Hunt Month 6!

Hunt Month 5 Recap

Hi everyone!

We're nearing the end of another production month, and I have to say that I'm very pleased with the result! I got a lot done this month in terms of programming and took a huge chunk out of the desert path- just as planned.

The desert path's programming is quite dense and complicated, which is why I left it for last. Keeping track of 9 characters who may or may not die during the story gets pretty tangled.

Sacrificial Knife

I wanted to upload a full resolution picture of the Sacfrifical Knife that's going into the desert path because I think it came out really good! I'm proud of the design because I don't often do things like this XD

Once in game, it'll only be 100px by 100px, so a lot of the details will be lost [ c'est la vie ] but here you guys can see it in full glory!
