A Look at the Dinosaurs Sitcom

Here we are with another 90's sitcom retrospective. It took about as long as usual to make this one, which is strange, because I didn't think a show that was this short would take this much time. Dinosaurs is a very dense show though, and part of the challenge was just picking out which episodes I wanted to discuss, and which parts of those episodes felt most important.

I nearly turned the section on Nuts to War into its own stand alone video, and maybe I'll start making videos like tha...

Bonus Video: Can We Just Not Care?

At the moment, I'm mulling over how to improve the previous video, so for the time being, I've created this small one that's intended to be some content for the main channel until I decide on what to do. Luckily, I've had the idea for this video in the back of my head for a while, so hopefully it doesn't come across as careless.

This is a shorter video, and since it's intended to be a stopgap, I want to put it up within the next day or two. I don't want to undermine the idea of early ac...

You're Probably Not Addicted to Sex Media

The title here is a provisional one because apparently Patreon doesn't like me using another word in the title. But you can probably guess what this video is about.

The effects of this material are hotly debated, though there is one element within this debate that is incredibly noxious, pushing a ridiculous hypothesis that this media is similar to, or worse than, hard drugs. I also include some footage of John Doyle in this, so maybe that's some content I should warn people about too. View Post

The Many Lies of Crossfire

This one took a bit of time. Lauren Southern is one of those people that seem to be increasingly irrelevant, so this video is partially a look at the state of her career, and her latest movie, Crossfire, which I suspect people are already forgetting about.  If anything, this video might be a bit too light on details, even though it clocks in at under 50 minutes. I could only touch subjects for a few brief moments before moving on. I was really looking forward to digging into some real me...

Run Hide Fight, A Review and the Movie's Dark Back Story

The Daily Wire made a movie. Well, more accurately, they distributed a movie made by someone else. But it was specifically chosen by Ben Shapiro to be the first movie to go out under their banner.

Here's a very serious warning before watching, this is not a fun video. There are some laughs, definitely, but the deeper you get, the darker it becomes. I was even considering splitting the last eight minutes into its own video about the making of this movie, and the studio behind it, but I'm...

How Tim Pool Keeps His Audience Ignorant

A look at everyone's favourite beanied "journalist". The lion's share of this video was recorded late last year, but as mentioned on a community post on my YouTube page, I made some changes in light of recent events in Washington D.C.

There's about seven more minutes of footage from the time stamps 35:15 - 42:15. I'm a little undecided on whether or not to keep that in the video or not. If anyone feels as though the video should be wrapped up without the extra stuff, please let me know....

Malcolm in the Middle Retrospective

This is one of the most requested shows I've been asked to cover. I have to confess, I've resisted it a little bit, but going back and re-watching the series, it was better than I remembered it.

The video itself felt a bit scattered, but I managed to pull it together in the end, so I hope people enjoy it. There was a lot of pieces in the show itself, but very little behind the scenes stuff to discuss, so this video runs a bit shorter than my other retrospectives. There's a whole section...

Steven Crowder Voter Fraud Conspiracy Theories

A new video! In the wake of the election, and the many "questions" that came out of them, I wanted to look at how said questions are used to fuel conspiracy theories. While this video focuses on one specific conspiracy theory, the "just asking questions" technique I describe has been used by countless others, from 9/11 to the Moon landing. It's a technique that, once you understand, is very easy to spot.

This video is coming out very quickly because I started working on it almost immedi...

No, Gillette Did Not Lose $8 Billion Because of a "Woke" Ad

This video wasn't supposed to happen.

My next video was supposed to be a response to Lauren Southern's upcoming moving, Crossfire, which she promised would come out before the election. It didn't. So instead of sitting on my butt for another week, I decided to make a response to that annoying talking point of Gillette losing $8 billion because of the toxic masculinity ad back in 2019. That only took about 6 minutes to debunk, so I included a bit of fun psychology research about why peop...

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Retrospective

This one came pretty quick, huh? Well, there's a fun story behind that.

Originally the Married With Children video was supposed to go online in April, but thanks to the copyright drama, it was put on hold while I was forced to wait out a copyright strike. While sweating that out, I had to ask myself some serious questions as to whether or not I would ever make another one of these videos, since they can be such a pain. Eventually I decided to just move forward and work on with the...

Reviewing Glenn Beck's Jesus x Santa Crossover, The Immortal Nicholas

A new book review!

This book was...a struggle to say the least. Glenn Beck's books are very boring, and this one had far less silliness in it than I was hoping for. Still, I think I had some stuff to say that will make it so that there's some value here.

As usual, let me know if there are any tech issues or factual errors. The audio at the end was recorded last night, so the quality is bad, and I will likely record something new before this goes on my main channel. I'm trying to g...

Married...With Children Children Retrospective

It's finally here!

This is an edited version of the original video I wanted to upload, which is a few minutes shorter, more or less intact. If anything, it could probably stand to be a few minutes shorter, but I wanted to keep the less relevant sections on trans representation and David Faustino's rap career.

As usual, please point out any mistakes you might find within the video. Two I've already found and will be changing for the main release on my YouTube channel are I used th...

Longer Version of New Video

Patrons will probably notice the public version of the Gundam Seed video is slightly shorter. I had to cut a few sections to get it on YouTube without having any copyright claims on it. That said, I did want to share a much earlier version of the video that I uploaded to YouTube that got blocked.

This is the version of the video I wanted to upload originally, but had too many claims and had to be reworked. The major differences are I use the original 2002 version of the sce...

Protesters & Cars

New video, this one is pretty serious. I'm slightly worried my point might be muddled because the victims I highlight early on weren't may not have been directly attacked for their protests, but what's more important is the reaction to their death and injury. If anyone thinks it could be clearer, let me know.

And as usual, please let me know if there any technical issues, video or audio, or if any assorted factual errors are noticed.

I should have an update here when the next vide...

Gundam Seed Hate Science

This is my first attempt at an anime video!

Gundam Seed has been a favourite of mine for a while, and I've wanted to talk about how bigotry and science intersect in an interesting way here. This echoes a few things I've said in other videos (probably most notably my video on scientific racism), but hopefully offers a few new things for people as well.

As usual, if anyone notices any errors and quality issues, please let me know. I used a new microphone for this one, so any audio i...

Update on Taxes, and Some Bonus News

Hey All,

If you're a patron, you probably got an e-mail already, but I wanted to remind everyone that a number of different countries and states are implementing some new taxes on pledges. Most of you are at the $1 or $5 level, so I can't imagine it might mean more than a small additional charge, depending on where you live. That said, if anyone feels like those charges might sting a bit too much, please do what's best for you and your finances.

In other news, I don't want to buil...

Why Some Cops Think They're The Punisher

Hey all,

This is another short video looking at the use of the Blue Lives Matter Punisher Skull emblem that cops (and some TV personalities) have been wearing. It's just under 15 minutes, and it was created as a quick way to comment on the recent protests, and direct some people to a few worthy causes.

As usual, please let me know of any spelling mistakes, bad cuts, or factual errors.

Also, I'm still tweaking my audio setup, and am now using an audio interface. The quality p...

The Camp of the Saints Book Review

Hey all,

Here's an early look at the new video. In addition to the standard request of letting me know of any error (facts, typos, etc.), I'd also appreciate any feedback on the sound quality and the new background.

I tried a new method of recording and I'm not super happy with the results, though uploading to YouTube seems to have gotten rid of some of the problems I had. PLEASE let me know if you notice a dip in quality though. Re-recording some, or all of it, would be time cons...

A Video Delay Update

Hey all,

Due to some difficulties regarding a copyright claim, my next TV show retrospective will be delayed indefinitely. I've been struggling to get this video suitable for upload over the last 6 weeks, and I'm not sure there's much else I can do to change the situation at the moment.

I apologize for getting anyone's hopes up for the next video. In the future I'm going to have to be more careful when announcing my upcoming schedule. And when it comes to producing retrospectives ...

PragerU is Conservative Junk Food Video

Today's video is another (relatively) quick one. I've been putting off looking at anything PragerU for a while, but this video bugged me, so here we are.

This is an early version, but from my estimates, it seems just about done. That said, if anyone spots anything, I would greatly appreciate a head's up.

As usual, the corrections I'm especially concerned about are:

Spelling mistakes
Audio errors (clicks, pops, weird breaths, etc.)
Volume consistency (too loud/qui...

New video: Fascists Only Have One Move (and an update on the sitcom video)

Hey everyone,

My newest video looks at how fascists always use the same tactic whenever they're confronted with a problem, scapegoating minority groups. I put this together very quickly, so please let me know if there are any errors, or if it sucks.

Also, I'd appreciate any advice on a better title because I'm not loving the one I have. I was thinking something like "Fascists Only Have One Solution", but that didn't sound right either. There are no bad suggestions!

Update on the next video!

Hey everyone,

So the next video is coming along nicely. It's going to be another sitcom retrospective, and will most likely be my longest one yet. I just finished editing the audio file for it, and it's clocking in at roughly 1 hour and 10 minutes. When I splice in all the clips I'm using, I'm guessing it'll be around 1 hour and 30 or 1 hour and 40 minutes. But that also depends on whether or not I cut anything!

Editing the video together will probably be done in the next two week...

If you would like to help me out, please let me know if there are any of the following things in this version:

Spelling mistakes

Audio errors (clicks, pops, weird breaths, etc.)

Volume consistency (too loud/quiet in places, overall too quiet)

Visual errors (wrong image, awkward cuts,...

The Home Improvement video is up!

It took a while to put together, but here's a look at all eight seasons of one of the 90's most popular shows.

I want to start working on it soon though, because these tend to take a while.

New Video: Reviewing Ben Shapiro's Garbage Short Story Collection

One of these days I'm going to remember to make this post at the same time as my video goes up.

Anyway, this is the last of Ben Shapiro's fiction for the time being. I am instantly doing more if he publishes more. Maybe I have some sort of problem, but bad conservative fiction gives me great joy.

Here's a fun fact about production for this video. The original version of me reading the lines in the first story had me slipping deep into a southern drawl. Not on purpose mind you, but...

New Video on Ben Shapiro's Garbage Novel

Hey everyone!

The new video is up, and it's been so warmly received I'm thinking I may need to dive into some more Shapiro fiction in the future.

As a little bonus, here's a tiny bit I cut from my script:

On page 86 we get a story of how Soledad started her ranch. She “Built it up from nothing”.

But back on page 41, we found out that Soledad inherited this ranch from her father-in-law, and it was he who “Worked it up from nothing”. In the grand sch...
