You may have noticed that I preface all my file names with a year and month, followed by some pseudo descriptive labels, like 202401_gote.jpg... What the date actually tells is when the sketch was originally saved, not when it was finished and uploaded.

This one, for whatever reason, just remained "Illustration53", but I did manage to find the year: 2019. So at least five or six years old.

I recall trying to complete this once before, with hairline brushes, and that didn't really ...

Good morning, you all!

I've been rather inactive in this front for a little over a month, and I thought I'd break the silence!

There was this phase where I lost much of my motivation to do much anything, but I'm working myself back into speed. I'm now in this sketching and doodling phase, where I create some new ones and revisit some unfinished pieces and try making big changes to them to see if they begin to click.

So I have two monsters ahead of me, outlines and colors. While I did manage to brush one...

Disconnected last week, now back

I've just returned home from a trip up North. It was very relaxing!

While I was there, I got the bright idea of planning a new comic series focusing on one of my older OCs, Red. Even managed to do a rough outline for the first three pages! I'm pretty excited about it!

But yeah, not much else to update this week, though! It's getting late and I'm a bit tired from the train trip.

And that's the end of the chapter! I hope you've enjoyed this small venture that, well, started pretty random on one sketch that I kept on adding things to impromptu. I've had fun fleshing out these scenes that wouldn't really work with just one or two frames. All the kind words have really boosted my confidence that maybe I can make comics.

Comic frequency poll

I've sketched some new pages, and I was wondering when is the time to drop updates here on Patreon.

One is that I post the sketch of the entire scene, which can span multiple pages, when it is done. Sort of behind the scenes look very early on.

Other option would be to post individual pages as I outline them, building up to a full scene eventually. This resembles your standard webcomic more.
