Broadlands Sun Association

A few photos of our time at Broadlands family naturist park on Norfolk. It was the first decent weekend of the year, weather wise, and a nice relaxing time. By now you will have seen the video with Carol and her N64! Of course we had to take retro games consoles with us. What else were we supposed to do in the evening?

Bomberman 64 - Nintendo 64

Last week we had a short break away at Broadlands Sun Association, near Norwich. Whilst primarily a family club with member's pitches, they also have a number of static caravans for holiday-makers to hire. We have gotten to know the club warden and his partner Carol quite well, and Carol is a major retro gamer herself. She brought her precious N64 to our caravan and we sat and played on it for quite a while!

Good Morning Britain

Earlier this week, Helen was asked to appear on ITV1's breakfast news show, Good Morning Britain. A story had made the news about a nude sunbather on Hampstead Heath and she was invited in for a debate to defend public nude sunbathing in the UK. She ended up being the news herself though, as she was nude on the show!

Golden Axe - Sega Mega Drive - Ep 2

Golden Axe - Sega Mega Drive - Ep 1

Golden Axe, the arcade classic from 1989, was ported to many systems and was a huge success in its day. We've visited it once before on the channel for Patreons, but we enjoyed playing it, not to mention playing co-operatively for once(!) that we're revisiting it. We've split it over two episodes - here's the first part.

The Brocken Hurst Naked 5K run

On Sunday was Brocken Hurst's first naked 5K run of 2023. This was Simon's 5th time running, and with a time of 33m11s, it wasn't his best, but definitely not his worst either. One of our daughters also run with him. This was her second time running the course. Simon beat her the last time she ran, so she hoped to turn the tables this time, but it was not to be. He still came in nearly 2 minutes ahead of her! So now the focus will be on the next 5K in September...

Pretty Things in Horsham

Its been a bit of a busy time lately. Yesterday evening we went to Pretty Things in Horsham, West Sussex. It was a Nothing On Events social evening, which involved a cheese board (for Simon anyway!) with prosecco as well as clay pot making for those that wanted to - we didn't do that bit. It was nice to catch up with Adam who runs NOE as well...

Virtua Fighter 4 - Playstation 2

Its button bashing time again, with Virtua Fighter 4 on the Playstation 2! Not much to say on this one; as always we're putting it in the console for the first time and just seeing what happens, so any special moves are pure fluke! A fighting game is a fighting game though, so Helen was right at home with this one...

Kinect Tennis with Naked Travels - Xbox 360

Our good friends Mike and Fiona (aka Naked Travels) are always game for a laugh, and playing Kinect Tennis with them was certainly a laugh! Complete with struggling to control the Xbox, accidently whacking one another (and a wine glass), and a dance interlude when the game capture recording stopped... It is a bit of a feature length episode, but worth the watch as we take it in turns to put way too much effort into playing a video game!

Altered Beast - Sega Mega Drive

We've not played Altered Beast in a while, and we should do more. As a launch title for the Mega Drive, many people played this. Helen's not a fan of single player games and taking it in turns, as there's not usually any competition, but sometimes its obvious who the better player is!

British Naturism is holding a naked charity walk in aid of the British Heart Foundation at Leonardslee Gardens in Sussex on 17th June. Today we took part, along with friends and other local naturists, in a promotional photoshoot for the walk.

Davis Cup World Tour - Sega Mega Drive

Davis Cup World Tour (aka Davis Cup Tennis) is an ... erm ... tennis game. Released in 1990 on 8-bit systems, it was ported to the Sega Mega Drive in 1993 to a mixed response. Simon bought our copy years ago, long before we reacquired an actual Mega Drive to play it on! Surprisingly we've never actually seriously tried to play it, mainly because we didn't have very high hopes for it. I think we did it a bit of a disservice, as its actually pretty playable and entertaining given the constraint...

Worms - Sega Mega Drive

Not every game play video goes to plan! Worms was a pretty good game on the PC in the 90's, but I've not played it since, and Helen had never even seen it before. Turns out playing it across the other side of the living room, even on a modern 49" TV, isn't very easy. Even after I remembered how to play, I couldn't work out which team was which! Helen the Caribbean Walker

It seems we came home from our Caribbean holiday with a collection of video clips of Helen walking around. Around the cruise ship, in the sea, along the beach, up the road to the beach, and even when we tried to find a short-cut and found ourselves naked in some undergrowth! PacMan Air Hockey

Some of the days on our cruise were nude days at sea, so we have plenty of time to explore the whole ship and found the arcade games room. In there was a PacMan themed air hockey table, so obviously we had to play it - a few times!

Bahamas Nude Beach Update

We wanted to upload this while we still in the Bahamas but unfortunately the wi-fi on the ship was just not fast enough. Or rather, we bought the 'value' wi-fi option before we left and regretted it! No loss though, as you just get to see more in one go!

Cabana in Amber Cove

We're three quarters through our Caribbean cruise now. Due to connectivity issues we'll have to wait till we're back in the UK to dump a whole load of photos on you! But just to give you a flavour, this was a bit of Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic, where we had an ocean front cabana. It was a manageable 28°C and nudity was permitted throughout the resort for the day, just for our ship.

Kinect Sports Skiing - Xbox 360

Working our way through the Kinect Sports 2 games, we decided to try skiing next. Its strangely tiring for a game that doesn't require much moving. We also really need to get a better second camera!

Kinect Sports Baseball - Xbox 360

We're quite fond of the Xbox 360 Kinect. It truely is a nothing on gaming experience! It's not the easiest thing to control though. We had a bit of a false start here; we were going to play American Football, but had a bit of trouble tossing the coin... So we switched to baseball, and it certainly got a work out! This one turned into a bit of an epic...

We're on holiday!

We had to keep this short as the WiFi isn't great in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico! Yes, we're on a Caribbean cruise from Florida to Antigua and back again, but not only that, it's the Bare Necessities 'Big Nude Boat' cruise. 14 days of naturism, around some of the best nude beaches in the world! We can't quite believe we're here either. Stay tuned for updates as and when we can...

Revenge of Shinobi - Sega Mega Drive

Revenge of Shinobi - the side scrolling platformer from 1989, here on the Sega Mega Drive. Although Simon remembers others playing this, Helen hadn't heard of it! Its a one player, so we took a life each, but this is why we love retro games - dead easy to just pick up and play!

Are videos not playing?

So we have had reports that the Vimeo mobile app is not always being co-operative with our embedded Vimeo videos. They apparently work fine from a web browser though. We can't see this ourselves, perhaps because its our own account! So if you do ever experience any difficulties, please do let us know otherwise it may never get sorted!

F1 - Sega Mega Drive

F1 (or 'Formula One' in the US) is one of the best driving games on the Mega Drive/Genesis, and its game engine was reused in other games in the genre as it was so well regarded. As always, we'd never played it before turning the camera on, but perhaps we should have at least read the book as we couldn't work out how to play 2-player mode! Never mind - that leaves it open for a follow-up video in the future...
