April Update: Seventy-Five Percent

Hey team! Not a lot to discuss, but here's the skinny:

When I started physical therapy this month, their preliminary assessment told me my leg was at 31% functionality. (This was after a chiropractor visit that had already improved things significantly.) I had my reevaluation this past week and I am up to 75%. That's more than double in under a month! It is very nice being, in many ways, a proper human being again.

Sorry for the lateness of this update. I've been out of quarantine for almost two weeks now, and I'm getting back into the swing of my various obligations, but I'm not moving at my fastest. By this time, my symptoms are pretty much cleared up. My stamina has taken a hit - when I'm active, I run out of steam a lot faster than I did before, but it's improving day by day. I can go for walks, I can cook meals, I can go to the grocery store. Life is going back to....

I have COVID

Hey team,

I have tested positive for the coronavirus. So far it seems I have a really mild case, and we have good and (largely) affordable healthcare here in Massachusetts, so I am anticipating I will be okay. Provided there isn't a second wave of symptoms headed my way, I seem to already be on the mend. But we've converted my partner's little office room into a quarantine cell and this is my life for the next week and a half.

So, um... probably no video this month, either.

Still looking for a title, all I've got so far is "Dropsy/Alum," which isn't very punchy. I think simply revealing what the video is actually about would bring in a lot of clicks, but it's a stronger essay if it's a reveal? Not sure how to straddle those lines.
