I want to talk about my game development project which is Draknier Story, a jrpg-inspired game.I just launched my patreon and have been operating for about a month and I needed time to adjust properly from freelance to making personal content.
I spent the month of May for writing the world lore, tribes/clans, story plot, scenarios, characters, game design and pipeline planning which is something I can't show yet as I don't have anything visual to showcase along with it. Planning will help me avoid falling into traps of feature creeps and overscoping. Also, most concept art are still very rough.
Starting this month(june), I am planning to show you an update before the end of the month for this project as I prepare more stuff that can be visually be interesting to you and not just text. For the upcoming months, it will be the same, Every end of the month update.
I'm quite excited for the next update to show some visuals!

I will posting the Nia Art pack here in patreon, As I think its a good way to organize them via the tags (Nintendo JRPG/RPG) I made. I just wanted to inform you ahead of time due to notification.
Also some changes to the following Art Packs: Mythra Art Pack - I will be adding the credit rewards for 'May' charged patrons as I launched my patreon at the end of April 2019 (Monthly patrons' pledges are charged every 1st of the month). Nia Art pack - I will include lists of names as credits/rewards for those who donated via gumroad and cubebrush in the past before I launched my patreon. I can't seem to get in touch with most of them so it's the only way I can acknowledge and take them while having privacy to some extent (Amount donated will not be shown).
Lastly, I made a 10 minute timelapse video w/ a few edits of the Nia artwork I made just for fun (*≧∀≦*). I added some fun audio to it and I will be sharing it soon on youtube.

Good day to you. I just wanted to inform you today that I made some changes to my patreon page particularly the stretch goals.
After realizing something, I decided to remove my stretch goal. Instead, I decided to give all rewards from the very beginning. I was thinking "why do I even have these stretch goals? Why does it feel like my early supporters are not gaining much until i reach the stretch goals?".
I am really grateful to you, my early supporters, and I don't want to make it feel unfair so I have to make some changes.
Previously, I was planning to slowly ease in after this month of May and follow the regular schedule (which was going to be base on the previous stretch goals) starting on june, but now, I decided to go all out from the very beginning and all previous stretch goals is now given by default(from the very beginning of my patreon) with a few tweaks. And also, so that even you, my early supporters doesn't lose out or feel punish from getting less due to previous unreached stretch goals. I want you to receive fair treatment, while also gaining more credits as you are an early supporter.
I know for some of you, my supporters.. credits might not meant a lot, but there are only a few ways for me to express my gratitude. That is by giving my very best for these projects (art packs & game project) and by giving credits. For me, it's quite a big thing as it is my only visible way of directly showing my gratefulness and my way of acknowledging it as the projects I am currently making are 'free'.
As for the other changes, I made my patreon's overview/about section more simplified while the previous detailed section has now been moved to a post(link also displayed on my new overview section) as I feel like the previous one might feel bloated or overwhelming with text.
I made a few tweaks with the tier list description, while retaining the same reward (aside from hidden protagonist, amount donated is now hidden by default, unlike previous where in donation is displayed by default)
Lastly, I also added a stretch goal, not really stretch goal to reach for reward, but to show transparency of how much will I need until I can be comfortable enough with being able to live & cover my necessities, while also being able to pursue my projects. I live in the countryside(by the way, i like seeing nature(⊙ꇴ⊙)) which helps w/ lowering the living cost compared to the living cost of a city and gives me more leisure to work on my projects.
Prior to this year and previous years, I was helping my family(not my own family, but family that i belong to) financially as we are not really what you can call in a comfortable situation(and for decades), but this year, I am finally pretty much free from that responsibility as the situation has and is turning for the better, meaning, I can start thinking about myself, working on my dreams, and pursuing my passion without having too financial worries about my family and how much to earn to cover that ヽ(＾Д＾)ﾉ.

Who are you? Hello Everyone! I am Gofelem, a 2D artist, writer, & game developer. I grew up playing jRPGs since the 90's and pretty much is a big part of my life and source of passion/inspiration. What are you making? • JRPG Fanart Art Packs - One of my personal project is making art packs for free as it is my way of sharing passion, the games I played, and stories I have experienced to everyone and maybe even helping others discover games or worlds that they yet to experience.
One philosophy that I always want to follow for myself is when doing my fanart art packs, I must at least have played the game/source material, experienced the story, and know the character.
- For jrpg fans who are already fans of this certain IP/series/game, I do hope you enjoy this certain artwork to relive or reignite your love for this certain game, making you feel nostalgic.
• JRPG-inspired Game Development "Draknier Story" - is a solo game development of jrpg-inspired game called "Draknier Story" which I am planning to release as free. I am not even sure if it’s going to be sustainable w/ the amount of work I put on these, but I have also considered it when looking from other’s perspective and just following my heart (I know that it may be not smart in business sense to follow feelings, but that’s just how i feel). As a protagonist, you get credited both in my Art Packs and JRPG Game Project. (Left Pair - Main Protagonist, Middle Pair - Mysterious Protagonist, Right Pair - Hidden Protagonist) All tier rewards are pretty much the same w/ few differences: Main Protagonists - Name and amount donate is shown Mysterious Protagonists - Name shown, but donation is hidden Hidden Protagonists - Name is hidden, amount is shown(or hidden if requested) Here is a sample of how a supporter is credited(This folder will be included on the art packs).

Where does our support/money goes?
Around 5-10% will go to paypal and patreon fee. The rest will go directly to supporting me.
Reaching the 400$ goal will fully cover my monthly cost so i can put focus to the art pack and game development project.
Beyond that, it will go to improving the equipments for better production of art pack and game development such as being able to buy better sound resources instead of using free, better hardware for faster processing and rendering, and more creative and useful things that could help me with the production.
What are the license/terms for these art packs?
Free for personal use. Not allowed for commercial use. Please don't sell,modify, or redistribute it. If you want it to be on physical merch, you can print it for yourself or as gift to your friend/family/fellow jrpg fan. No official merch from me yet as I haven't found someone to work with yet. You may use it for youtube as an exception(even monetizing the video) as long as the video's topic is relevant to the artwork such as discussing about jrpg or the game it belongs to, but on the condition that you must provide credit to this patreon page as being the source. Hello everyone, this is the lists of the art packs I want or planning to create. In fact, there is still so much that the list will get overwhelmingly big and I have to put some limits (；ﾟДﾟ).
I have played around 95% of the games listed here, and these are mostly my favorites. The remaining 5% are games I am still planning to play. It is important for me to understand the characters before making a fanart (๑>ᴗ<๑).
You can pretty much expect that the upcoming artpacks are coming from these lists, though there are also possibilities that they may not come from the list. And again, it's not only one time, I may create art packs for a single character multiple times (ᗒᗨᗕ).
*There will also be occasional polls of a list to choose from for the art packs I am going to create ( ･u･ ).
