The first of a series of two-page spreads in Love Space 3 that will constitute the second half of the comic. This is our second look at planet Bon'ur in this series, but a little redesigned from Love Space 1. I'm shooting for Coruscant-meets-Blade-Runner-meets-Barbarella. The runes in the top left are Bon'urian script that I created and am now committing to forever I guess.

A little view at the Team Roquette co-ed locker rooms, where Grunts turn into Girlies. The encouraging messages from the higher-ups are on a loop. (Ashley made James record a LOT of lines for this one.)
Also check out the new standard uniforms. Aren't they cute? Each Roquette Girly is given a makeover by their direct superiors. All women from Team Rocket were given a promotion and new training through the Roquette Salon program.

Lineart for the cover to Love Space 3! I didn't have a really good idea for this one until this afternoon, so I had to make sure to get it going. It's a riff on family portraits (think the poster for the movie Step Brothers) and I think it's going to come together quite nicely.

A Lola/Jabba piece which really just came out of a sketch I liked. I tried to play with my process a little, but it kinda came out the same so I don't know how much I like it. The doodle is very much the same. Playing with poses and shapes and such.
Just having a little fun on a Wednesday.
Next week's pages are already sketched. Things are about to heat up for our two main characters as Queen Teree'sa finds the activation switch for the spaceship part of the house.

I was trying to come up with an appropriate illustration featuring one of my characters. I usually default to Star Wars in these scenarios, and I did try that. However I couldn't quite get the drawing I wanted to come out of my pen.

Poor Lee'sa. One minute back in a physical body and she's already eepy.
Expect more pages next week. I had to take the time to do some environmental studies last week to get the vibe of Adam's house/Lee'sa's ship just right. But more on that later.

My collaboration with Grumpy-TG is well on its way. 5 out of 7 pages inked already. We changed up the workload so that we both ended up sketching pages, then I ink them, then Grumpy will color them. We decided to reorganize our priorities so Grumpy could finish working on a major update for their long-running comic A Little Bit Magic and I just happened to be in between large projects so I could take on the inking. Anyway this should be finished by early October.
