Centaur's Hunting Bow

Weapon (shortbow), rare (requires attunement)

This hefty wooden hunting bow was fashioned in the likeness of a centaur deity of wisdom. The bow has 4 charges and regains all expended charges daily at dawn.

When you hit a creature with a ranged attack using the bow, you can expend 1 of its charges to magically mark that target for 1 minute (no action required). For the duration, the first time you make an attack with the bow on your turn, a single magic miss...

Fyre Shredder

Weapon (battleaxe), rare (requires attunement by a bard)

You are proficient with this weapon while you're attuned to it. The sharpened head of this battleaxe doubles as a metal lyre, which can be used as a spellcasting focus for you. When played, its notes resound with an electric, tinny sound. Small licks of harmless fire spark from the weapon while it's played.

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, as well as any bard spe...

War Thorn

Weapon (war pick), uncommon

A large thorn grows from this magic war pick's wooden haft to form the head of the weapon. When you use this weapon to hit a creature with an opportunity attack as the result of that creature's movement, that creature's speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of the turn.

If you are a druid and can cast the shillelagh spell, you can also cast that spell on this weapon. For the duration of the spell, you are considered to b...

Displacement Leathers

Armor (leather), uncommon (requires attunement)

This armor creates a blurry afterimage of you while you move. When a creature hits you with an opportunity attack while wearing this armor, roll a d20 (no action required). On an 11 or higher, the attack misses and hits a nearby illusion of you instead. On a 10 or lower, the attack hits you. Once this property of the armor has been used for the fourth time, it can't be used again until you finish a long rest.

I'm back! We'll navigate the future of the OGL together.

Hey heroes! Thanks for the generous extra week of time off: it was extremely valuable.

If anyone hasn't been brought up to speed on the hijinks relating to OGL 1.1, please read about it here from a Saddlebag-support lawyer's (very readable) post on Medium:

The Saddlebag is taking another week off to navigate OGL 1.1

Hey heroes, title says it all. The video goes into more detail about the time off and why it's sadly needed.

TLDW; I'm taking another week away from making daily content in order to continue planning a path forward in the wake of OGL 1.1. I know that I and the rest of the creator community are doing everything we can to continue making content for you with as little disruption to you as possible. OGL 1.1  makes this extremely challenging and painful to do so. More inform...

Welcome to Val Linsin — New Setting and TWO Subclasses!

Hey everyone! Thanks for your patience: Val Linsin is the final setting from Year 4 and is also a perfect locale for the December subclass to make its debut!

The holy refuge of Val Linsin, the City of Towers, stands proudly within and a narrow yet wide canyon that shares its name. Four-hundred-foot-tall cliffs of granite serve as natural defenses to the city, while manufactured towers and keeps carved into and over the canyon provide additional coverage.
