When covid hit, many artists started doing rooftop performances to stay in practice and bring color and excitement to the lives of the community.
As for myself? I love rooftop videos, I really enjoyed the rooftop dancing! Especially when I lived right around the corner and I had access to my rooftop. We have since moved down the street and no longer have rooftop access but my daughter lives on my block and she does so we can continue to do rooftop gigs in the future.

Sadly Lottie passed in 2020 but I do love this article published while she was still alive.
There is so much incredible information that comes out when a performer speaks of their career. So many bits of history string together to give a more complete picture of their life story as well as puzzle pieces that snap into place by proxy.

Blaze Starr
Some time ago I was sent this signed book by Blaze Starr complete with one red stocking tucked inside.
The book also came with 2 sweet little letters. One letter was about the night out with āfriendsā when Bryan āCherokeeā Smith met Blaze and asked to see her feet. Blaze removed one stocking and rubbed it in his face and signed the book. Bryan didnāt want his āfriendsā that evening to know his real name so he had Blaze sign the book to āHarryā.
