Brooke had been raised riding horses in Southern California, so when I mentioned that I had a friend who managed a horse ranch that we could visit, she jumped at the chance. Caitlin, the horse wrangler, had briefly modeled for me a few years before, so she knew what to expect from a shoot and couldn't wait to get started.

I'll admit, sometimes I can be a bit funny. Thankfully, for the most part, models think I'm usually entertaining, and Breana especially is constantly laughing at my goofiness. Sometimes this can make it difficult to keep a straight face during a shoot, but what's the point of doing anything if you aren't having fun, right?

Not having too much experience with the creative world, Breana leans more towards simple, straightforward lingerie shoots. Though the concept is rather boring to me, I tried to make the technical aspects challenging, just to keep things interesting. I decided to shoot with contrasty, moody lighting, keeping the images dark and more noir than what I am known for.
