I woke up the next day feeling fantastic, having gotten a full night’s sleep for once. I poked my head out of the room, only to find things busy and bustling. Right, barracks, not wilderness. Chapter 40 - The Road to Virinum I

I was running by the wagon when I heard a low rumble, like far-off thunder.

A second rumble, like thunder non-stop.

We moved back home with Themis, who got his own cot in the bedroom. I had flat-out refused to share mine, which had sparked a round of arguing with mom.
