Coming to this month's update

We're going to finally see what it's like to be a slave in the Queen's dungeon!
Including our first Patron reward of having their likeness included in the game!
(which I know it's been a while coming, but we wanted to find the right story node to place it in, and everyone just wanted more witch arc!)

Which means we'll be introduced to a whole new character which will be super interesting!

April Update - The Warrior

Using the same teaser image, because I don't want to spoil the scene, but we've gotten a really intense moment with the warrior for this month's update!

There's still no VA yet, as I've been hoping that my first choice will get back to me (but it seems like no success), so in the future we're planning an update that will add lots more JOI to scenes, and add Warrior VA, but for now we get to enjoy the Warrior's arc deepening.

We've just picked up a new artist to help keep the game's production at a more consistent level, as we know that things have been slow, we're working hard to get back on track with something that will keep you excited to see each new update!

We're trying to stick to our promise of transparency, and our updates on Patreon haven't been as frequent as we like, but our presence in discord is almost 24/7. March Update!

-Added some bonus content that only shows up based on RNG (Will be doing more of this will small dialogue to make repeated playthroughs feel more fresh.) 

-Extended Witch arc with some more content with your BFF

-added the beginning of an arc where you try to escape. 

-Did some work to try and tidy up the nodes for consistency, but will need to do more.

What we've got planned for march

It feels like the witch has been receiving a bit too much focus, as the beginning of her plot line and the Queen's overlap a lot.

Minor Patreon update

Patreon's been working on some updates behind the scenes to make things a smoother experience for it's users, the first of which is a change to a subscription billing service which prevents Patrons from being charged on the 27th and then again on the 1st to keep benefits, it instead charges on the 27th every month.

Our previous release style had felt like adding new pages to a comic book, where we just tack on the next set of art and write a little bit of story, which worked well for starting out but we're at a place where it's going to get more complicated and interwoven and things will start to overlap and make less sense, and that would ruin the immersive attention to detail and world building that we've been dedicated to.

The second Black Contract Pre-release Alpha build!

Black Contract V0.1 PreRelease Alpha

Here's a sneak peek at where we're up to in Black Contract, the plan is to have the first release onto Steam next month (because it has a mandatory 2 week waiting time, so we'll make everything mirror that.) which will mirror the content on the first chapter. For now we're just implemented existing comic content, so that we catch up, and then eventually coming back and adding more stuff like interactivity and choices.

Exciting announcement and news

The first thing we should cover is that we're running a little bit late. This month has been pretty crazy for the team, and we weren't able to deliver on the extra update that we had in mind. I know we've been a bit quiet lately, last month had a lot going on, including cutting our planned content slightly shorter because Cubze was overworked and needed to recover from wrist strain.

Finally, the day we've all been waiting for  has arrived. Shackles of Ellswyn is now here!

We're like 99% close to demo release....

I know it would be typical of us to continue to tease, and tease and not let you get any release, but we're actually so close now.

All of the major art pieces are complete, we just have some minor ones to do that will help the story flow a bit smoother.

We've also, at the recommendation of some people in our discord, hired a voice actress to do the first run of VA for the Queen, but just enough lines to cover the Demo and some generic stuff we can use all through.
