Had to take my car in for an oil change and thought I'd use my wait-time wisely by working on some new She-Hulk art. Hadn't drawn Jen Walters all lawyered up before so thought I'd give it a shot.

Lil' Moon Knight

Happy Monday, everyone!

Who all watched Moon Knight last week? I really enjoyed the first episode. I've only read a handful of Moon Knight comics, but from what I have read it doesn't seem like there's really a definitive take on the character. Feels like the creators are using that giant open sandbox to their advantage and I'm totally here for it. Plus, I'm a sucker for any sort of Egyptology stuff.

Nature Drawing

Hi all! Something a little different today.

This past weekend, my family and I went out for a little nature walk at one of our local everglades parks that we have scattered all over west-central Florida (where I live). Since a lot of tall grass, shrubs and trees are featured heavily in one of the graphic novels I'm working on, I decided it was also a good opportunity to do a little observational sketching while I was there.

Q&A

So I'm back to doing some in-person author visits after which felt like forever. It's great! I love chatting with kids and showing them my process and hopefully inspiring them to create stuff.

Lime Stripes

Hi all! Here's another personal little wind-down piece. Guess I'm still on a bit of green kick from Saint Patrick's Day.

I tried out a few different color variations along the way before settling on that main one above so thought I'd share some of that process with you. I still kinda like that martian looking skin-tone one. Haha.

Fennec Shand

Fennec Shand watercolor sketch for one of your fellow Wild Space Cats. She was definitely one of the more enjoyable characters in Book of Boba Fett. I kinda dropped off watching Bad Batch though. As much as I love Star Wars, it's really tough keeping up with all of it these days.

Turning Green

Happy Monday, everyone!

Saint Patrick's Day is later this week and what better way to celebrate it than with another Batgirl Supergirl comic! I hadn't drawn one for this holiday yet, so why not?

This is my 21st BG/SG comic (22nd if you count the Harley Ivy one I drew some years back). It's sorta amazing that I'm still drawing them. Maybe once I conquer every holiday I'll finally stop. Or maybe when folks grow tired of them. Or maybe when I simply can't physically draw them anymore...

Turning Red

Couldn't resist sketching up some quick fan art of Mei from Turning Red. The family and I all watched it last night and it's a whole lot of fun! Certainly one of the more expressive Pixar films. You could tell it must have been a blast to work on.

Some mixed feelings on all the boy band music tho. Haha.

Very quick Obi-Wan drawing I did last night after watching the new teaser. The show looks great. I'm not that picky as some when it comes to Star Wars. I just like me new Star Wars. But I will say that I am a little extra excited about this one. AND it comes out two days before my birthday, so that's a nice present. :)
