Ruby Rose Watercolor Sketch

Here's a sketch of Ruby Rose (from the anime series RWBY) for one of your fellow Wild Space Cats!

I wasn't familiar with the character, but she was a lot of fun. You can see in the initial rough sketch I originally had her posing with her cool sickle-like weapon facing up, but she felt too much like a reaper. I think the pose I choose is a little more cheerful. Plus, it allowed me to use the cool exploded moon from the series as a cool background shape. Y'all know how much I love my moon backgrounds!

It's going to be an incredibly crowded year for me so original watercolor sketches may be coming a tad more infrequently than they did in 2021. But as you can see, I am still doing them! So if you are in that Wild tier, please keep an eye on your inbox for my next available slot.
