During our first photo event in Moscow back in 2016 Ekaterina Zueva was the last model scheduled for hair and make-up styling. As we were a bit late, we decided to leave her hair like this for the first set. Afterwards we realized that this was the best decision ;)

You probably noticed how much I like warm / golden tones. That's what I'm often aiming for in terms of color composition. Like in this picture which I shot on our last photo event in Sicily with beautiful Anna.

Here's another picture from last weekend. Not from the workshops, but from the coachings on Friday.
I love to work with sun reflections. Many photographers often try to work with direct sunlight, but this is mostly to harsh and has to much contrast. It's easier to work with small reflections. They give a beautiful spotlight as well.

Good morning everybody. I have an important notice, first for you guys.
This Saturday I have scheduled an "In town" workshop for Fujifilm with amazing Anastasia Scheglova. But this is the first workshop in 5 years I won't be able to attend due to strong personal reasons.
That's why Fujifilm and I will move the workshop to Friday 29th of March. But of course not everybody who signed up will be able to move to Friday. That's why there are some available slots again.
If...

This is one of my very view pictures when I used a strobe. You know that almost all of my pictures are photographed with available light only, but now and then I like to use an old Nikon SP 900 to achieve this glamour-trash look.
It's rather off topic, but if your are interested I can do a short tutorial on this technique in my coaching channel next week. Just leave me a comment.

Hi everybody. How did you like yesterdays tutorial poses on how to shoot lying poses? I hope it'll help you a lot.
This one was photographed at our 2017 photo event in Moscow. I't unbelievable. This year we will be back to Moscow for the 4th year hosting our events #6 and #7 in Russia. I never thought about this when I took my first trip there 2016. But everybody loved it so far and keeps coming back :)

I took this picture of Taya during our photo event in Saint Petersburg 2016. She's really an outstanding model. At that time, Taya was modeling only half a year, starting at an age of 33. But she was so professional that it felt like she's doing this for years. Everybody on the event couldn't believe it.

This picture was taken in Thailand where the sun is high all the time. When it comes to sunset it drops down extremely fast so you don't have much chance to create moody sunset pictures.
I had to change my style a bit, but still I love to shoot at bright beaches as the sand and the ocean are really cool reflectors where you can shoot all day.
The original shot was much wider, but I cropped it to make Miri fill out the frame better. Also I changed the background as the original o...

Hey everyone, how are you today? So here's the final picture of the video tutorial from yesterday where I showed you inverted highpass. After that, I used my skintones technique and luminosity masks to achieve the nice golden skin tones and bring more depth into the picture. If you don't know about these techniques, please check my video tutorials that I postded before.

It took me a long time to get into girl girl shoots, especially with some interaction. There were just to many things to concentrate on and mostly I wasn't happy with my results.
I can definitely say that I'm very happy with this shoot of beautiful girls Vikra and Kitrysha. But you can imagine how much I had to concentrate to not mess up this shoot ;)

A picture from my testshoot with beautiful Kate Chromia in Budapest. Usually I always try to test with the models before I invite them for a workshop. Not only because I want to see how good their performance is, no I also want to know about there personality.
Our workshops have a quite friendly atmosphere so it's very important that the model fits in well. And Kate does for sure ;)

From my workshop last weekend with beautiful Natalia Andreeva :)

Hey everyone, how are you.
The last post was a little bit mixed up, as Patreon put the site into maintenance right in this moment again. So here's a little update.
You see a picture of sexy Miri which I captured during a test shoot for my new studio in the beginning of 2018. Back then there were no accessories and not much furniture which I could use for more scenic looks, but I had a great tie to discover my studio in terms of light distribution and found the first cool light s...

Hey everyone, I hope you're all having a great weekend :)
Next week we will start tutorials on lighting techniques for beauty portraits and sensual nude photography. You will learn that there is a huge difference on good portrait light and good body light and why this picture is rather an untypical way of lightning a sensual nude picture (and why it's still working fine).
For all of you who didn't have time to read "Right level of contra...

Actually I wanted to post a video quick tipp tonight about how to use luminosity masks, but I catched cold for about a week and my voice sounds terrible. I photographed beautiful Taya first on our photo Event back in 2017 in Saint Petersburg. She was really a gift for us, because her beauty is outstanding and her performance was as well.
For my way of shooting with available light and especially for this picture it is important to find the right level of contrast. Tomorrow night I'll do a tutorial post in the coaching channel about this topic to show you what I mean :)
