The work on the second male character, the Rhino has begun.
Right now I'm trying out beards and mustaches. I think it fits him. Of course, the body hair
will be optional later.

We've deployed a new patch - yiffalicious 0.1e. This patch fixes issues some users were experiencing when trying to load an interaction from the cloud (infinite load). It also introduces a new sorting mode - Hot. This is the default sorting mode from now on. I've also been looking at an issue with dark scenes that some are experiencing. We realized we have forgot to mention this extremely useful method when editing interactions: Press and hold Left Shift when using the Move or Rotate tool, to make it a lot more precise. This makes detailed posing a lot easier!

Applying growth to a mesh works pretty much like a magnifying glass - any flaws in the mesh will become more apparent. In real time rendering, using as few polygons as possible is crucial to maintaining tolerable framerates, but it also means flaws would be really easy to spot with growth applied. Luckily we can use dx11 tessellation to eliminate glaring issues in the silhouette. Tessellation works at hardware level and has little performance impact.

One thing we always strive for in developing Yiffalicious is to make all solutions applicable to any character. We don't hard code anything! It's all modular.
Here's one of our latest additions - dynamic precum. This is not achieved using an array of predefined stages - rather the textures are generated dynamically. So the cum moves up and down depending on how far the penetration goes. Also, this can be applied to any model, given that is has been prepared properly.

In Yiffalicious, we're using something called DX11 tessellation. What this does is generating high quality meshes in realtime (in hardware) for basically zero performance cost. Of course, it requires you to have such hardware (GeForce 460+).

When we announced Linux and Mac support, we hadn't really investigated the market share of these platforms for our targeted audience. But after close examination, we have come to the conclusion we have more to gain than to lose by simply focusing on Windows only. We understand this will surely disappoint some of you, but we think it is the right choice.
