This is the full page from the first NIMO comic where the character are pretty busy. I show you my original line art, including cross-hatching at this time.

The colors were done by Hernan Cabrera. From the second comic, I did all the colors myself, as I couldn't afford hiring him, unfortunately.

I have such great memories from this era, amazing poses & digital artwork, all focused on precise line art & learning & loving the cross-hatching. Much too time consuming, so ...

Reciprocity (Process)

The front leg was pretty hard to get, I thought I'd have more trouble with the extreme perspective of their heads giving head!

So, I selected a cool pose for the Sketchy this morning, when creating the new layer to draw on, I saw it reached THE number 69. I couldn't help myself to go for something else to celebrate as we should this lovely number.

One complex perspective pose later, here ya go! :-P
