The first leg of an Ultramarines Lieutenant

Hi!

Today I have for you the first tutorial about painting an Ultramarines Lieutenant. 

As you can see this is just a beginning, but I managed to finally create a color scheme for painting Ultramarines armors and I'm very happy with it.

The Lava Base with the background

It looks like I posted photos of the base with my wet palette in the background everywhere but here.

I feel that photos like that allow you to better "feel" how the model really looks like because of the well known objects in the background.

I still have a lot to do with this base, and I will change a few things but the lava itself is finished.

Additional material about my painting technique

Hi!

The three

It is a very rare thing for me to have more then one finished miniature on my shelf at the same time, so I took an opportunity to take a photo of them.

I must say that I'm very happy with this how lights and shadows on each of them works comparing to the rest of the models.

I feel that they look like they belong to the same scenography :D
