Dug out my drawing tablet and drew something. It's pretty rough, but honestly I'm a bit surprised. I thought I would have forgotten how to draw by now.

I had some free time and managed to pump this out before the end of the year. I don't plan on kicking my art back into full gear until early next year (when I can maybe get away with it) but hopefully I can finish another piece before then.

I’ll be pausing August’s pledge

A couple days ago  I was offered a promotion and I took it on the spot. So while I spend the next couple of weeks getting my bearings together at work I’ll be turning off August’s pledge since I’m uncertain about how consistently I can work on art while I transition in my workplace.

I usually try to upload regularly on sundays, but a couple days of bad health coinciding with my birthday last friday slowed me down. Fortunately I finished the dialog and sketches before I fell sick so I managed to scrape by with just a day late from my usual.

This is the second entry into my fantasy RPG style series of unfortunate guild/party members being made useful. I've been playing around with the idea of making a game around this theme for about a year now. Fantasy RPG's tend to have a lot of bureaucracy; but unlike the real world the introduction of elements like magic, spirits and different races really pushes the tolerances for how individuals can be removed and reinserted into varying roles.

It's been almost a month since I held my 100 watcher raffle and while it didn't go as smoothly as I had expected it would, I'm at least proud that I managed to bunker down over the last two weeks and create something I can be proud of.
