Mythra Color test

Making sure I figure out the shading and colors ahead of time to make the coloring simpler.

Very happy with this! It also helps me keep things consistent with the other two shots.

WIP- Mythra (Xenoblade 2)

I think I've nailed it down to these 3 shots for the full animation, with the back shot being used for the start and end of the action.

Quick update!

I'm finishing up the Nobara animation, doing cleanup on it is taking a bit longer than expected, but it should be up by tomorrow night with an extra high-res version and the Original CSP file for Horny Jail supporters!

As for the Mythra animation, I'm planning to make it a multiple shot animation, probably using the hot springs setting from Xenoblade, and you can expect some WIPs for that this week!

Nobara - WIP 2

Another quick update, I moved back to CSP for this, so the animation file will also be available once it's done!

This should be finished over the weekend, and I'm hoping to do a few drawings as well.
More importantly, I'll be ready to jump right into the poll animation as soon as the voting ends!

The workflow I tried with the Hex Maniac animation was not as good as I hoped for saving time (in fact it made some things harder), so I'm going back to basics on this one.!

Hex Maniac - First Version

Happy halloween, it is about 10 minutes before midnight and I kept my promise! The HD MP4 version is down below!

This version will get touched up in a few ways, and there'll be the alts I mentioned before.

I'll also make the suggestion post for November's poll in the next few days!

Hex Maniac WIP

Like I mentioned before, I'm using this animation to try a new, better way of shading, which was probably a bad idea when I gave myself a deadline (being Halloween), but it should also allow me to make better stuff moving forward.

I'll do everything I can to get a version of this fully finished by Halloween day, even if it's just one of the alts with simpler shading, then I'll keep working on it while the November animation poll happens.

WIP - Hex Maniac

I mentioned I wanted to do a side by side between the recently leaked beta and the final hex maniac.

So I tried to make a pose that could work both as her being on top of you and also laying back in bed with the arm reaching out towards the viewer's face, to make the whole corruption "before and after" idea.

I think it mostly worked out, but I think I'll just focus on final Hex Maniac. The big thing is I want this to be done before Halloween.

WIP + Update

Hex maniac won the poll (by like 1 vote!).

I want to try doing an animated 2 panel comic of sorts using the design for the beta hex maniac that just came out, but I'll see how it turns out.

In the meantime I'm also working on a loop of Nobara from JJK for a commission, so expect some WIPs of that as well.

I've been neglecting drawing any of my OCs recently but I wanted a new Avatar for this page, so here's a little bonus drawing!

Jane Doe Loop Release

HD MP4 available below, including an alternate lighting version. And this will get sound later!

I spent more time than I planned trying to get the lighting on the dark version to look better to match the Jane Doe trailer, but it's really hard to do when you don;t plan the animation around the lighting change.

I'm not super happy with the results, so I'm planning on using the next animation to REALLY study lighting and compositing so I can get this 100% right!

Quick Skyla drawing

The crazy Pokemon news from today made me run to draw this one.

I'm compositing the Jane doe animation now, I'm hoping to have it done in 2 versions by the end of the day, and it will get a sound version soon as well!

Jane Doe WIP

Just to let you guys know I'm still working on this loop as well!

I'll have the character suggestion post up tomorrow, and I want to finish this loop quickly and then go right into working on the poll winner!

Using a different software for this one, which I think will get better results and faster, but won't let me share PSD files of the animation.

It'll probably take couple of days to make sure all of them are working and put them up, cause I'm dealing with some IRL stuff, but I'm getting them out to you guys ASAP.

After that I'm gonna put up the next character suggestion post this weekend!

Serena Animated WIP

I'm just doing the final bits of animation, such as facial animation on this, then I can do the camera movement and compositing.

Hoping to have the final version done today or tomorrow at the latest.

Took a lot of testing but I think I got it to a good place with the gradients.

Serena WIP and update on commissions!

Having to account for the shirt and hat on the shadows is making me try a few different ways to layer this one, so it's taking a little longer, but It's almost ready for the final animation.

I'm experimenting with slightly blended shading to give the clothes texture and plan on using a lot more gradients to give the skin better lighting and make it seem shinier.

Expect a more rendered color test up in the next couple of days, and an animated version during this weekend!

Serena Sketches

I'm already working on the serena poll winner animation, I went through a few poses and the first one on the post will probably be it.

I'm setting it up to have several alts where you can remove the stockings, shirt and hat in various combinations, and so when legends ZA comes out I can add whatever clothes the character on that game will have.

Also considering an alt where I change the guy's colors to make a machoke or machamp but I'm not sure you guys are into that.

Trying to decide between a simple loop or trying to make a complete animation, but a much simpler one (like 2 simple looped shots and a VERY simplified intro with only a couple of drawings).

This more cartoony style won't stick around, the anime style I went for with Cynthia turned out much better.
