these frames are both from the second chorus, in the seasons changing montage.

the first frame was for a shot in the "I'd fight the harpies and chymeras" verse, where we see Telemachus singing his lines to Argos as they walk through the palace during spring. I had already drawn a good portion of it before deciding that I didn't want to show Telemachus singing these verses.

this is actually pretty sad because this was one of the first scenes I envisioned for this song

basically in this scene, a random suitor gets a bit too rowdy and some guards come in to stop him. But I realized midway through animating it that it wouldn't make sense for this moment to be in the story

I would accidentally establish that guards are around to mediate these dangerous situations, which for the fight with Antinous to make sense happening would be kind of a problem.

good thing is, the flashback part of the song was actually the very first thing I did for this animatic, way back in September (and also the flashback is the main thing that kept me from giving up on this project), so I might actually be able to release it in this month!
