Been a while, but back at it now that I'm done animating! Nothing too exciting happening here, just kind of dotting the i's and crossing the t's before ending the comic as it were, but I tried to throw in a little bit of amusingness into the mix.
...I got some yellow ink on my hand before inking this page and didn't notice. Oops. Hopefully the yellow smudges won't be super visible in the final thing!
Oh, also just noticed I didn't ink the fox's face in the first panel, hah. Now ...

Someone asked to see my iridescent shader for the shiny birb model. In this case it's just a quick faked effect, it doesn't calculate light paths or anything, it just gives you the colourful colours if you're looking directly at a surface and fades away to the proper body colours as you get more off-angle.
Take whatever is driving your main body colours and mix it together with a colourful colour ramp- play around with whatever colours you want and where they sit on the ramp until you...
Finished up the majority of the rigging! There are lots of tweaks and improvement still to be made- some rigging needs tweaking to fix strange deformations, I want to give those arms and legs scales and plates a once-over to improve their look a touch, hits bits need to be a bit darker... still a small list of things to do, but he should be done and ready for animation within a day or two. It's going to be fun doing horrible things to this fella. :D

Sorry I haven't been sharing much of the creation process on this one, but after doing all the recording for the creation of Nidhala I wanted to just relax and work through a model without any other concerns, especially where this one was going to be a very challenging build. This page is once again a bit rough around the edges... and a lot of the center too... but I hope you like the result!
Finally back with another page. Done with the smut now so we're back to being a little silly. You'll have to imagine the fox still slathered head to toe in horse spunk for now, but it'll be there in the final thing.

Have I ever mentioned I have an interest in making games? It's something I always thought was kind of interesting, but I never got around to experimenting with it because it just seemed such a daunting task to get into.

Alright! Had to get some basic free video editing software to make this, then figure out how that works, then find a place where I can upload the file, then figure out how -that- works, but I think I can finally release this. x3
It's a pretty huge video, over 2 hours long. I sped things up as much as I could to shorten the length but if I took it much faster than this it became unwatchable. I don't really expect anyone to sit down and watch the whole thing beginning to end, but you can...
Mostly. There are little tweaks to be made, but she's more or less finished at this point. I took a quick render to show her off, but it was really similar to the last one and kinda boring so I whipped up something a little more interesting for you all. Not dramatically more interesting, but it was just a quick thing so I could update you all, not meant to be something super artistic.

Just an update on how the model is coming along! I have a lot of the colouring/texturing/shading done on her, and the "base" rigging done, which means all her bits move at least, but lots of cleanup and corrective work is still needed which is why she's got puffy shoulders and her facial expression is lacking other weirdness is happening. Just haven't gotten to those yet!
I'm still iffy on the scale texture in a few places as well... mainly on the face, though I'm having second thought...
I mean, with how instantly she became very popular, this was inevitable. However, I didn't really plan on doing it any time soon, but then someone offered to toss a little money my way to essentially shove her to the front of the queue. Since I definitely wanted to make her, and I was going to make her eventually anyway, it's kinda like free money. How do I say no to that?
It wasn't anywhere near enough to cover the cost of getting a model made, (I wouldn't expect to get that...

Added in fur and did a bunch of other stuff. Actually, now with all that done it kind of looks like a chipmunk. I might have made a chipmunk?

Got an animation rendering which means there's not a lot I can do with my computer at the moment, which meant it was a good time to knock out another page. Besides, we're at a pretty good part right now so it'd be a shame to let it sit for too long.
So enjoy the horse milking out everything the little fox has to offer. :D
I did a little test render of the animation I'm working on, and figured I had no reason to not toss it up here, so here you go! There are definitely still things needing tweaking- the two biggest ones being the fluid materials could use some work, looks a bit like rubber almost right now? Also the particles are a bit too big which looks a bit silly, and the guy's "mascara" is smeared a bit. But I'm getting pretty close to the final look here I think!

Just an update on the model. She's got fur! In the process of making an animation with her now- and I should actually be able to show you guys the WIP on this one since it's a very consensual scene, so stay tuned for that I suppose!
Poses are a bit meh because they were just quick renders to show the commissioner for approval, but they at least do the job of showing her off.
