Chrysus had heard countless tales about the monsterous gorgon that terrorised the region—a woman cursed so no man would want her, made so hideous that gazing upon her would turn you into stone. However being this close, she was able to get a clearer vision, and chrysus didnt see that at all.

Medusa closed in for the kill, once she removed the one thing protecting Chrysus from her. It wasn't until the warrior remained unpatrified that she realised the chrysus was blind. It seems that Chrysus's words also struck a cord with the gorgon, making her hesitate; no one could look at her without suffering the same fate as the cemetery of statues.

Both women lock in fierce combat; Chrysus ability to match her own prowess impressed medusa. She almost found it disappointing to kill the woman; she'd at least give them an honourable place among the statues when the fight was done.
The flirting is going strong and the tension is building!

Medusa hadn't yet figured out how Chrysus was able to find her, thinking she was simply another foolish warrior coming to try to slay her again. The gorgon intended to end her and add Chyrsus to the collection of statues. First she needed to get that helmet out of the way.
The two ladies have spotted one another and will now engage in the courting ritual of combat. The smaller one will attempt to woo her with her might! If she fails......

Using her heightened senses, the cave acted as an echo chamber when creating noise, allowing Chrysus heightened senses to map out her surroundings and see the multiple bodies that had been defeated by the gorgon.

Despite numerous attempts, no warrior ever managed to defeat the legendary gorgon. It was a death sentence and a cemetery for the dead, situated in a dangerous, wet cave where no light could reach.
However, compared to others who perished, Chrysus, the monster slayer, descended into the gorgons lair with the aim of slaying Medusa and did not require light or sight to pursue it.
Time for the ladies to fall for each...
