Lil Lore:

After the marionette had subjected Demi to endless tests, a breach in her lab abruptly cut short their activities. However, the scientist had already prepared for this.

Before parting ways with Demi, she drained the vampire of all her blood to further conduct her experiments on the dreadblood. This would, however, prove to be a fatal mistake.

How much time had passed remained a mystery; Marionette worked tirelessly, as if driven by a maddening fascination with her new subject or on limited time. Demi was the perfect subject with her resilience, and Marionette planned to see how far those limits could be pushed—limits even Demi was unaware of.

Aaaand we're back with demi. Theres a reason why its best not to push demi, but you know mari gonna always do her thing.

Marionette had conducted thorough research. She administered just enough blood to keep Demi functional but not entirely useless while doing her tests. And the use of sun lamps would ensure that the vampire remained in a weakened state.

also in other exciting news(for me mostly lol) guess who finally has fast internets now! Another reason for wanting this is at some point when i figure out how i want to do it, i'd like to do some draw streams with patrons. But yea just something to think about!

When Demi attempted to cross the barrier of light, she felt her flesh disintegrating, similar to how a vampire reacts when exposed to sunlight. Given the speed at which it was destroying her body, crossing the barrier and regenerating would be a challenge, especially since Demi had never tested the limits of her physical abilities.

It took a trial and error to realize that Demi required a substantial amount of blood from her own kind to advance and awaken from her slumber. This was something that those who bargained with the marionette were not aware of, leading her to have them acquire what was needed before using them as well. This only further intrigued her about what this creature was capable of.

It was not uncommon for Demi to sleep for a decade. This time, when she awoke, she found herself in an unfamiliar place, and it was clear that she had been out much longer than anticipated; given the strange contraption surrounding her, time had progressed. Something had clearly gone wrong during her absence.

This is a fun one to do and hopefully i can get stuck into it. Its kinda the first time demi isnt in control and in a not so good...
