So, What's Going On, Myke?
Added 2019-05-31 19:45:01 +0000 UTCMany of you might have been asking yourselves, where has Myke been? Has he forsaken us, those who so kindly and generously supported him all this time? Is he taking us for granted? Does he even care?
Well, I am here, my patron friends. I am always here, and I'm not going anywhere soon. I am still creating the adorasexy stuff you and me both like, and I am still thinking of you. Many of you know where to find me and contact me on a daily basis. It... is usually not here. Because Patreon makes me anxious. Very anxious. I tend to feel that I'm not doing enough to deserve your support, even if I'm not at fault in regards to what I promised you. Still, I would like to be able to give you more. And so I keep postponing those updates until I feel I have something that is worthy of your attention. And the more I postpone, the more anxious I feel. I'm sure you know how it is. It's... not really working out, is it?
Many of you started supporting me on the expectation of getting more of those juicy NSFW versions of the anthro ponies. Despite drawing almost every day, the last few months haven't really been kind in regards to opportunities to give you what I know you deserve. At this time, I am working on a new piece on that series featuring Princess Cadance. You can the WIP for that piece here:

As stated in my introduction, this Patreon's current operation is meant more as a means of giving those who care about my work the means to show me some material support, than the reward system which is more common for creators working on this platform. I've tried that, and it didn't really work out because I think I'm just too slow and I don't have enough availability to process all the reward requirements in a timely manner. However, I still want to offer you more.
Firstly, I do want to engage with the people who enjoy my work more closely. As to do so, allow me to state my main contacts and Internet presences, so that each of you may be able to reach me in a more personal and reliable fashion.

Secondly, here is a proposal that endeavors to bring me closer to you all on this platform: From now on, I would post here not just the patron-exclusive content, but every piece that I finish and publish in other platforms, similarly to what I do on other gallery sites. Would this be something that you would be receptive to and/or tolerate? Would you prefer individual posts, or weekly digest posts? That's a question that I'd love to have your feedback to, so tell me what you think.

Hey Myke, I think it would be a wonderful idea to also post your work here as well as on your other sites! Even if it's a bit more work it's good to have more access to your content and to have it more readily available. The whole not getting rewards from Patreon tiers is kind of a let down but I understand why you can't do that sort of thing, the best we could hope for is offering suggestions for monthly drawings like what you have been doing and that's okay. Keep up the great work Myke and I'm sorry that Patreon has been such a stressful endeavor for you!

To your question: I would love that. usually the only times I see your posts is when they appear on derpibooru. But I know not everything ends up there because not everything fits the theme of the site. but since i don't check Furaffinity or DA at all normally I tend tomiss a lot of your posts. for me it would be pretty neat to see them here :) I'll also see if I can attend some streams. I wasn't even aware you're still doing that so often. I'll keep my eyes openfor it and hopefully say hi in one of those streams soon .

2019-06-01 18:11:51 +0000 UTCAnd I think I've got a few ideas: Maybe something like a poll every 1-3 months about the next project that patrons exclusively will get to choose what they wanna see, not too often, but once every few weeks or months would be a fair thing, maybe? Besides that, I think keeping patrons updated about how things progress, maybe also sharing a few details and thoughts about your favorite works once in a while, and including your patrons in some processes in general? Maybe some WIPs, especially for those that do not hang out on the stream? :D And I'd say both unique patreon content and the pictures you upload anywhere would probably be welcome.. I think the opinion of a few more people would be awesome about those points? :D Wish you the best!

2019-05-31 22:04:12 +0000 UTCI have no problem with you posting finished works here whether they are patreon exclusive or not and I also don't have a problem with individual posts. If you decide to not post content that is not exclusive to patreon then I would suggest making posts every once and a while with a status on project and wip's if you want to show them or if you had a bad day and just need to vent a little that way your supporters can see that your still active and it may give you a chance to ask questions on improving an image you are working on. Also, the Princess Cadance looks pretty good and I look forward to the finished piece.
