Twitter drama llamas and moving onwards

Greetings Battle Buddies! Just want to address one frustrating thing real quick and then move onwards. Twitter is a dumpster fire. If you don’t know, a few months back in May we got attacked for not dropping Antarctic Press as a publisher when they dropped Jawbreakers. This was done to people extremely loyal to Richard Meyer and really only honestly constituted a handful of people. But when you’re getting beat up by a handful of folks and there are DOZENS of people standing around that says a lot of what people think about you right? Fast forward and now, all a sudden, people got into their heads that we were a Comicsgate affiliated book. Well, to be honest, while we DO agree with 98% of what most people are saying, what we DON’T agree with, is forcing that label on people that don’t want it. Doing things like ‘Guilt by association’. Or using us as a shield when someone has been called a nazi. We also dislike people putting words in our mouths and stating our position when they themselves don’t know or are unsure. First and foremost, out work should be judged ONLY by the merit of the art and story-telling. This is not a political book, and we’re not a political book. If you like our work, you’re more than welcome here. If you want to bring the culture war to our doorstep…well that’s going to be a problem. Whether or not you’re SJW or Anti-SJW…you’re welcome here at the table, but just leave your colors at the door. We’re not here to btfo SJWs. We’re not here to stick it to the patriarchy. We don’t talk CG stuff here, because well that’s not important to us. Just making a good product that’s fun and enjoyable. At the end of the day that’s the sole thing that matters. Anyway, we’re going back to creating comics. And most likely we’ll be staying off of twitter for the time being as the platform is becoming increasingly more toxic the longer we’re there.
