The thing with the youtubers and the eyes makes me sooo uncomfortable, like my eyes hurt. Great point about how Eddie reacted to the skateboard vs Chris almost dying in a tsunami! I just love how much Eddie loves his son and just wants him to feel "normal" and loved. This is as good a time as any to tell you some behind the scenes stuff specifically about Gavin (Chris) and Ryan (Eddie). Gavin´s mom has mentioned in interviews that early on she tried to prevent him from "bothering" Ryan offscreen. But that Ryan didn´t have an issue with that and went and read books with him etc. on set. And that´s just so cute! Also, Ryan has compared Gavin to basically being his first kid, because he got to play a father before he actually had children himself and how he appreciates that experience. Josh breaks my heart, and also unlocks a fear for me about online dating. Something like that happening is scary and awful. And it seemingly went so well initially... But speaking of Josh... they only "joked" about it, but it´s very interesting that they implied setting up Buck with Josh. Like why would your mind even go there Buck? And that ending scene with the skateboard for Chris! Of course Buck builds an entire construct for Chris, he loves that kid just as much as Eddie. And it´s so sweet. Like, he probably went and researched what could be done, got the materials and then build it with Eddie, that´s effort.
