Weekly update time!

This week’s update has more words than images. I explain further below, but in short;

I will be going overseas at the end of the September for a while, hence, I’ve decided to make some changes to what I would like to focus on in regards to the MMO series and work in general over the next few weeks.

In summary:

– A new focus for the MMO series; completing the first 2 chapters (14 and 15) by mid September!

– I intend to complete one more animation by the end of the month!

– Did not practice anatomy and gestures.

毎週更新の時間です!

今週のアップデートは、画像よりも言葉が多い。以下にさらに説明するが、簡単に言うと

月末からしばらくの間、海外に行くことになったので、MMOシリーズと仕事全般に関して、今後数週間で集中したいことを少し変更することにした。

要約すると:

- MMOシリーズに新たな焦点を当て、9月中旬までに最初の2章（14章と15章）を完成させる！

- 月末までにもう1本アニメーションを完成させるつもりだ！

- 解剖学とジェスチャーの練習はしなかった。

MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

As I mentioned earlier, I will be traveling overseas at the end of September for about a month, and will be back around late October, if not early November. This trip was something I had planned since the beginning of the year as a sort of break from work and the usual grind, however, the initial idea was to complete all 5 chapters of the MMO series (alongside making a healthy amount of animations and RadioWis show episodes) before leaving. This is because I do not intend to do any work whatsoever during that trip.

HOWEVER, as we all can see, things didn’t go exactly to plan. Collaborations, and the unexpected (but necessary) alteration requests that followed some of them, had thrown everything I had planned out the window. The MMO series had taken a toll, and I can only blame myself for not managing my time as efficiently.

Thus, I have decided to focus on completing the next 2 chapters of the MMO series for now, chapters 14 and 15. The plan is to release chapter 14 at the end of this month, and chapter 15 at the end of October! This is so that while I’m gone, RandoWis will not be completely silent and, at the very least, I can justify myself taking this break.

The public release for each chapter will be 2 weeks after they’re released for FANS as well!

先にも書いたように、9月末から約1ヶ月間海外に出張し、10月下旬から11月上旬頃に帰国する予定だ。この旅行は、仕事や普段の忙しさから解放されるための一種の息抜きとして年初から計画していたものだが、当初は出発前にMMOシリーズの全5章を完成させる（それと並行してアニメやRadioWisの番組エピソードを健全に制作する）予定だった。というのも、その旅行中は一切仕事をするつもりはないからだ。

しかし、お分かりのように、物事は計画通りには進まなかった。コラボレーションや、それに伴う予期せぬ（しかし必要な）改変依頼のせいで、計画していたことがすべて狂ってしまったのだ。MMOシリーズが犠牲となり、時間を効率的に管理できなかった自分を責めるしかない。

というわけで、今はMMOシリーズの次の2章、第14章と第15章の完成に集中することにした。今月末に第14章を、10月末に第15章をリリースする予定だ！これは、私が不在の間、RandoWisが完全に沈黙することがないようにするためであり、少なくとも、この休暇を取ることを正当化できるようにするためです。

各章の一般公開は、ファン向け公開の2週間後になります！

I’ve managed to complete around 8 pages of base colouring yesterday, which I feel is a good pace but it definitely can be better. Considering both chapters have a total of 56 pages, I think it’s doable if I do my absolute hardest to complete them! I have to!

After base colouring, the remaining steps are colour shading, details, backgrounds, and finally, adding speech and SFX. I can do this!

昨日は約8ページのベースカラーを完成させることができた。良いペースだと思うけど、もっと良くなることは間違いない。両章の合計が56ページあることを考えると、全力を尽くせば可能だと思う！やるしかない！

色にの後、残るステップは仕上げ、背景、そして最後に台詞とSFXの追加だ。これならできる！

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

I still owe a timelapse video for the latest RandoWis animation! My bad!

I have not been able to work on the next animation or practices because of the most recent deadline for one of the collaborative projects. I have been able to meet the deadline though, so I thank you for your patience and understanding during the past week. I also can’t help but sincerely apologise for RandoWis content essentially taking a back seat in recent months, I’m sorry it has been this way.

I now possess the time to better focus on RandoWis again, so I’ll make the most with the time I have left to make up for it.

I do intend to make 1 more animation before I go overseas, but I’ll update you next week on the progress for that one.

というのも、ある共同プロジェクトの締め切りが直近に迫っていたからだ。でも、締め切りは守れたので、この1週間の辛抱と理解に感謝します。また、ここ数ヶ月、ランドウィスのコンテンツが実質的に後回しになっていたことを心からお詫びせずにはいられない。

今はまたRandoWisに集中できる時間を持っていますので、残された時間を最大限に活用して、その埋め合わせをしたいと思います。

海外に行く前にあと1本アニメを作るつもりですが、その進捗状況はまた来週ご報告します。
