Weekly update time!

In summary:

– Did 3 pages of outlines for the MMO series, finished outlining chapter 14!

– Made progress on the next animation!

– Managed to practice drawing some gestures and colour!

- MMOシリーズのアウトラインをあと3ページ分完成させ、14章のアウトラインを完成させた！！！。

- 次のアニメーションを作った。

MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

This week I managed to finish 3 more pages for the MMO series, and by doing so, finished outlining the final pages for chapter 14! That’s 1 chapter down, and 4 more to go!

Unfortunately, producing the commercial for the Puss plush took some time away from this, and as much as I tried to make up for it, I only managed to complete 3 pages. I’ll start on chapter 15 next week, and I’ll try to get more pages done!

今週は、MMOシリーズをあと3ページ仕上げ、14章の最終ページのアウトラインを完成させました。これで1章終了、あと4章です。

残念ながら、プッスのぬいぐるみのCM制作に時間を取られてしまい、その分を取り戻そうと頑張ったのですが、3ページしか完成できませんでした。来週から第15章に入りますが、もっとページを増やせるように頑張ります!

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

The progress for the next animation has been going rather well!

次のアニメーションの進行は、わりと順調です！

Can you guess who it’s for?

I’m playing around with timing and angles, it’s pretty fun and good practice! So far I’ve managed to complete the key frames for all the scenes, while managing to finish some in-betweens. It’s a really simple and short fan animation, so I’m trying to get it out by next week if possible.

Also, lip-syncing is tough.

誰のためのものかわかりますか？

タイミングやアングルで遊んでいるのですが、これが結構楽しいし、いい練習になりますよ。今のところ、すべてのシーンのキーフレームを完成させ、その間にあるものも何とか完成させました。本当にシンプルで短いファンアニメなので、できれば来週までには完成させたいと思っています。

あと、リップシンクが大変です。

Warm Ups + Studies | ウォームアップとスタディ:

Not too happy with how the practices turned out this week. Felt like I was losing touch with the gestures, and also felt that the colour practice could have been a lot better. Maybe it’s one of those weeks where you’re just not at your best. I’ll try to do better and more next week.

今週の練習の結果には、あまり満足していません。ジェスチャーについていけなくなったような気がするし、色の練習ももっと良くできたと思う。たぶん、今週は、ベストな状態ではなかったのだと思います。来週はもっともっと頑張ります。

Unfortunately, however, that commercial took a couple of days to produce, thus giving me less time to work on the animation and MMO series. My apologies. I’ll keep trying next week!
