The History of Cursor Keys

UPDATE - I re-edited/uploaded because I had made a mistake on the Tandy 100/102.

We didn't have MSX computers here in North America. I'm not even sure if I've ever seen one in person. At least I've seen a BBC Micro (hence the footage I had of one)

2023-05-01 08:28:44 +0000 UTCI have no difficulties at all using the cursor arrangement on the numeric keypad, partly because as I was growing up and started learning how to program in BASIC on PCs, I couldn't figure out how to detect when the user pressed an arrow key. I know how NOW, but not back then, so instead I detected the numbers on the numeric keypad, meaning Num Lock also had to be ON, not off. Of course, nowadays, everyone uses WASD instead and I try to keep this in mind when coming up with control layouts for my game ideas. ;D
