Idk about that man. The LOTR name alone should keep it afloat for a while. Not many unopened product goes down, maybe a little dip the months after release but then comes back up.

This isn't like Warhammer where it has a bunch of exclusive cards. There are valuable cards in them but just like Warhammer those cards will most likely plummet. I was going to pick one up for the initial 159 Rudy talked about in his original email but I'm guessing that price was only for the whales. I think these are well made but I'm pretty sold on them plummeting to the ~150-160 mark after release and I'll be a buyer on them then.
