Devlog 23 is up for viewing! Finally covering my pixel art journey from a few months ago :)
Started a new job so the actual game-related content is a bit low - I'm in a good work groove now so the next one will be packed!
It's been 1 year of progress since I restarted the game, lots of changes! It's very fun to see it all come together, super excited to morph this game into something fun and interesting. Thanks again for all of your support!

Just finished the concept art for the first human boss in the game - The Huntress.
I want each of the main overworld bosses to be the humans of an adventuring party that came to the island in search of riches, so she’ll be the Druid. There will be two phases to the fight: first she’ll shoot her bow at you, before transforming into porcupine-bear form and rampaging around.

Finally finished editing the colors/palettes tutorial, this one took quite a bit of work... Once patron numbers get a bit higher I may look into hiring an editor to help speed things up a bit.
Also, let me know if I pronounced anything wrong in the outro! I may be too late to fix it in Devlog 13, but if we catch it here I can redo it :)

First off, it looks like we've passed $100 and the first goal is reached! I want to say a big "thank you" to everyone here as it's a huge step, and I couldn't be more grateful!
As a side note, I've been thinking of other ways to potentially provide value to patrons and, as I've got more time now, I can finally do something I've wanted to for a long time - make a tileset! Here's just a rough little prototype to nail down the style, but I plan to make a full set of sprite...
