Rudy's Opinion - This is a strange Weiss set. The story is that Nazarick 2nd Edition was supposed to come out a year ago. It was endlessly delayed, and some distributors claimed it was fully canceled.
Due to the delay being aroudn 14 months long, many stores that ordered this went out of business in 2022. I dont know if those orders were canceled or the distributors were stuck with it.
Very strange situation.
I have no idea if the supply is high or low compared to other recent sets since this item was delayed for over a year.
Please use extreme caution when seeing a couple of the sellers on tcgplayer selling at a loss on weiss boxes. I am not going to sell new release products at a loss. The average store cost is approx $55 a box. It is common practice for some stores to open a case and hunt the SP card and dump the loose boxes at below cost on tcgplayer.
In addition, supply of all weiss boxes has been cut and reduced by the manufactorer moving forward. Normally i would get a couple pallets worth and keep it in stock for 24 hours.
I get 1 pallet of each set now.
I dont expect any Weiss sale to last longer than 1-2 hours.
The days of higher supply have ended.

Nazarick 1st edition popped off. Glad I bought one when I did when Rudy sold it way back when

2023-01-02 04:00:00 +0000 UTCThese seem to have silver sigs vs gold sigs from 1st edition if I understand correctly. Seems like they have also done 1-1 reprints. I've never heard Rudy discuss this risk with Weiss. Considering 1st edition are 200-250+ on TCGPlayer, if they were 1-1 reprints it would crash the price of 1st editions right down. For example he sold Date-A-Live right before the reprint was released crashing the price of those boxes.
