Hopefully the next "base" set will be more new player friendly. The mechanics introduced with TOA can be a bit taxing for a newer player to chew into. That has been the biggest challenge while getting people on board as of late.

So basically just copy the sports card industry. It's going to happen, serial numbers are the first step. Each product will have a different type/color of foiling. Printing plates, artist proofs/signatures, short prints,1of1s etc..

Do you think FaB will operate in blocks? Like 6 sets per block? Reason I ask is because once WTR goes OOP (probably around the time of new set), the mechanics will be too far out there for most new players to learn. The only thing I can see them doing is a refresh by set 7... unless they release a comprehensive product for newbies. The game will be a hard sell if there are no new player friendly sets sitting on LGS shelves. I don't mind WtrU going OOP, but I'm curious to see what they replace it with. This isn't Yu-Gi-Oh... and FaB sure as shit isn't as easy to pick up either. Reason I make that comparison is because they are both non-rotating games.

Serialized? I'm having 90s sports card flashbacks. WOTC will screw it up. They'll do something like just stamp the card with a number (skip the of # part) and keep printing it to oblivion 001,002,etc. Or they'll do it for TONS of cards and nothing will be special.
