I am a noob to Rudy's Patreon, forgive me for my ignorance. Are the $80 boxes set boxes or draft boxes?

Rudy, are the Commander Legends boxes separate from the Standard Boxes? I sent two payments for 12 standard boxes a few days ago (patiently waiting on tracking details xD). I was interested in ordering some Commander Legends and just wanted to see if I could also order those as well. :) Keep up the great videos.

So is anyone else buying Core 2021 boxes right now? I hear Rudy mention that the print runs for core 2021 might be cut short. I mean way short like only 2 printings. I'm guessing this would be a great opportunity 3-5 years down the road just like Core 2015 sets. I personally don't think there are many core 2021 boxes available due to COVID and rest of the awful year last year.

I think people forget that DRAFT is a FORMAT and to have a DRAFT you need DRAFT BOOSTER BOXES. Draft boxes arent going anywhere. Tons of people draft and you cant do it with set and you cant do it with CE

Agreed. I'm just shocked at what I'm seeing out of Draft boxes. Much, much higher showcase/full art pull rate than expected. And I've seen multiple openings of CE where 5 or 6 packs had the same card in both showcase slots. Plus with the Commander decks being so cheap, pulling an ancillary one in CE is almost a dead slot. I had no FOMO when purchasing, I just thought the set looked phenomenal, I just thought the premium products were the way to go, following recent trends. But it seems that so far every level of product in Kaldheim has huge hits, which will kill the ev on higher end products. It does not feel good when you open a baseline product that has more value in it than something that's 2(+)x the price.

Jury still out on this but I would say just comparing SET boosters vs DRAFT boosters this time around, Set boosters are far worse then ZEN rising. As a comparison in ZEN set boosters there were 2 wildcard slots, in kaldheim there's 1 with another that is usually almost always C/U OR a rare theme booster rare.

So... has anyone seen the pull rate per price point with Kaldheim regular draft booster boxes vs the Collectors Edition boxes? I know at this point there's not a definitive sample size, but holy crap. I am having extreme buyers remorse for parking my money in CE boxes when I could've had 2.5 draft boxes per CE. It seems that WOTC has flipped the script this set and has made a very strong ev'd baseline product. If this is the new trend, I don't see draft boosters going away any time soon. Damn, if the draft boxes are this good, how the hell are CE boxes going to hold a decent price point when nearly everything in them is pullable from a much cheaper product. Kicking myself in the booty for assuming draft boxes were gonna be trash like they have been the last few sets. Too soon to tell, but unless there's severe supply issues, I don't see anything special to keep Collectors boxes above $160-$180. Hope I'm wrong...

Correct, sale items have their own limit and don't count towards your 6 standard boxes.

Anyone able to let us know, does the 6 box limit only apply to the $80 standard items, or can we order6 $80 standard boxes and the by the case commander decks and zendikar boxes?

They have a while to go yet. I'm not even sure Throne of Eldraine is "officially" out of print yet, but it is close. I think Rudy usually says out of print happens 18-24months from release date.

Anyone notice that EV on Theros and Ikoria are north of $100 now? We should be expecting them to go out of print soon, shouldn't we?

Hello I was wondering if someone could help me I ordered some legend booster boxes on Christmas and still have not received tracking I tried contacting Rudy through patreon messaging and haven't heard anything. Am I supposed to contact him another way. I've been a patron for over a year and I've never had a contact him before but I have ordered several things since these booster boxes and have received tracking and all the other items that I ordered.

New member here and I think I snuck in the last spot or someone left, so I jumped in on time :) on the $15 slot. I have a newbie question. I see in the description it says "Up to 6 Standard boxes + Sale items" Does that include cases? For example, if i wanted to buy a case of Zendikar Rising, can i then add another 6 "boxes" of zendikar rising? for my monthly quota or does the case already account of the "6 standard box limit?

I just discovered Rudy this last insane year so I am just now slowly going through his backlog of content. That being said, how the hell did this poor man get a target on his back for so much shit talk, doubt and scrutiny? Communication is phenomenal and he seems to genuinely want our business through actions and awesome prices. I just don't it get. Hi Rudy I’m new to this and for some reason my emails don’t match, I emailed patreon to ask them how to update my information so I’m waiting for a reply. Please don’t cancel me! I’m trying to resolve this issue if I can’t order until I can get it changed I’m okay with that.

At the 15$ tier you can buy up to 6 standard boxes which are all of the ones marked at 79.99. All the other items for sale, including commander legends, are considered "specialty items" and can be bought up to whatever limit Rudy says in the post. I'm new here too so I hope that helps. Also I believe Rudy likes it best if you do separate payments for different items. So for example if you want 6 draft (79.99x6) boxes, 5 commander legends boxes, and a case of zendikar rising set , make 3 different payments. If I am wrong on anything I do apologize but I am sure I will be corrected by someone with more experience here. I hope this explains everything though

Also, I heard in a recent video that Rudy has some commander Anthologies that past patreons didn't want, so I wanted to know if I were able to get my grubby taco grabbing mitts on one of them? Or are these things off limits being at the $15 tier?
