Core 2019 will be available next week

I never used to offer new release sets on release day to lack of supply. in 2017 i used to wait 60 days before selling any new product to ensure all patrons "could" buy the box if they wanted to. This was to ensure a good experience for all patrons. In in mid 2017 the sales of magic was dropping so much, distributors were able to sell me as much product as possible on day 1. I then changed the business model to allow "release" day boxes on new sets.
It is now mid 2018, while the sales are higher than they were last year, Wizards has bottled necked ALL new release booster boxes for the first 30-90 days of releases in an attempt to stabilize and hold card prices higher so the public has a better perception of card values on new products. This is probably smart long term.
While they attempt to find the sweet spot there will be growing pains and adjustments on every box release.
I do NOT wish to revert back to my older system of simply NOT selling any new boxes for 60 days.
I am going to "attempt" to try a new approach on Core 2019 release boxes.
100.00 Patrons = Monday 7/9/2018 - Limit 12
20.00 Patrons = Monday 7/9/2018 - Limit 6
10.00-15.00 Patrons = Tuesday 7/10/2018 - Limit 6
I am only getting 350 boxes...thats it...battlebond was 1,600
MOST PEOPLE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY THIS AT RELEASE
After the initial release is over and 30-60 days passes it goes back to normal and people can get whatever they want as long as it is in stock. Similar to Dominaria, where everyone wanted it and NOW everyone has purchased.
There is still a very good chance, if every single 20.00 patron buys 6 boxes i wont have enough boxes for any 15-10 dollar patrons.
On a side note... im not fully understanding the "hype" around Core 2019...at the time of this message every single rare is under 4.99 a card...the expected valued of the set is only around 85.00 and the set is not even released. Core 2019 has the LOWEST expected value before release in a long time.
Lastly Dominaria AS EXPECTED now has an expected value per box of 69.44 only 3 months after release. But the hype was off the charts.
All markets are self-balancing and i highly encourage everyone to understand how the system works besides being angry that i cant sell a core set at release to everyone. In 3 months no one will care about Core 2019.
Stay focused on the bigger picture. Another reason i felt offering out of print boxes with possibilities of hitting very expensive unique cards would be a better alternative for a lot of people.

2018-07-10 21:58:42 +0000 UTCA friend popped his box on prerelease and he had no hits that would even justify buying the box even at 79.00 he paid 125.00 to a local lgs just for the promo card. I would say he didn't even get to 55.00 in ev value. I was hoping for better but the cards still warp. Rudy you are 100 percent right. It's the big picture and this just feels like another standard set that no one will think of in a few months. Thank you for being direct and honest in your dealings that's why I boosted my patreon for you. Keep rocking my man you are awesome.

I wasn't sure if I was suppose to wait for another post before putting in my order I just saw the date and put it in when I woke up. Not a sales platform, just a reservation platform so people can know if they made it and then send you money. Just sitting on a paypal send money button and then waiting to see if your order made it is kinda janky. For the record this is just a suggestion to make life better for the rest of the patreons, I'm gonna sit this M19 release day order out and wait two months for my standard cards.
