Weekly update: Short muscular Olivia and Charlie

Funky Spice is not affected by COVID-19 but it doesn't cure it either.

We live in a pandemic world, some of us are losing their jobs, others are working overtime, some suffer in isolated silence and some myriads of other shades of green stripped purple can also be found.

I'm part of the lucky ones, I came back from travel just early enough not to prevent me from starting work at my new job and my new employer sent me right back home to tel-commute after a week of training when the pandemic reached Canada. Thankfully our industry is not too negatively impacted by the emergency health policies so we're not expecting any lay-offs so far.

So I get a paycheck and I work from home. I'm part of the lucky ones.

The monthly reward is the new game client build that includes the "Full Yoga", which means when Oliver goes into yoga mode, the game starts skipping time ahead, at a rate of 5 in game minutes per (approx.) second of real time. In back ground you can see if new characters show up while Oliver is meditating and press the button to stop when you've reached the time you wanted to meditate until.

Yoga can be practiced in pairs, which affects the gains for both parties, but for one or the NPCs to join in (there is some randomness to it) Oliver OR the NPC needs to have at least reached Yoga Level 2.

There is still a bit of testing to be done before it is published, as usual all new account activation and reward publications can be expected at the latest on the 5th of each month.

What's next?

I need to fix the FSRI thing... the whole questionnaire thing is too complicated and it doesn't even work as intended.

If all goes as planned (meaning no game breaking issue with Yoga) the next build should be the first BETA testing build and it should come with the new FSRI, a new tier system for Patrons and an online shop to buy back issues of my comics along with the new stories like BrideCraft so readers who don't care about the game (or don't have PCs) can still get them as Zip files, for a price.
