After 2 weekends with no work being done on the game because of real life interference (moving to a new apartment) I'm back at work and rendering!
So as you will soon see for yourself, the game relies on pre-rendered images to create the scenes. Each character needs to have their clothes updated to their new bodies so they fit the way they should with their respective transformations. they need to be posed so that the scene perspective is right and that proportional sizes between characters and objects allow for a realistic comparison to be appreciable by the player... You!
this weekend I managed to make 100 renders for game scenes which combined probably allow for over 1200 different scene combinations but that's still far away for what is needed for the game to run much beyond Oliver's 1st semester.
Next weekend, I'll render the equivalent required renders for the conversation interactions and that should be enough for the first phase of alpha testing. Meanwhile I'll get started on the new game mechanics that will focus on making the "spice up grind" more enjoyable.
