Well...we made it. 2020 is done. At least, I think it is. I'm writing this on New Years Eve and the posting is scheduled for January 1st so there's still time for an asteroid, or the awakening of Azathoth I guess but I'm choosing to be optimistic. Let's hope 2021 heads in a better direction. Happy New Year everyone!
The charity painting competition was a nice little success story from the year. After raising £500 (roughly 680 USD) for Direct Relief via 27 entries into the competition, the judges have decided upon the winners. Originally the competition was supposed to be community vote driven but thanks to some extremely obvious cheating, Sylvain Aubut and Ambrose Coddington (The Bug King) were kind enough to judge the competition for me on super short notice. Thank you to everyone who took part, congratulations to the winners, thanks to the judges, and thanks for the donations.
You can view the winners, runners up and all entries in this post.
A note to all prize winners: You will be receiving emails this weekend with details on your prizes and how to claim them. I've just had to wait until January for accounting reasons :)
Eva, or Madame Whiskey, made a nice change to the usual mix of scifi and fantasy, I do love the pulp vibe and I'll be sure to do other entries for that era. She will be available on my website today for anyone who missed her.
LINKS TO DECEMBER CONTENT ARE NOW INVALID - NEW ONES FOR JANUARY WILL BE POSTED ON THE 3RD JANUARY.

Jessie or "Blitz", Cyberpunk Edgerunner, has won the poll. I will be sculpting Jessie throughout January and releasing her in February. I will be sharing Work In Progress shots as I go.

Lady Cassandra, Commander of the Aethosian Legion, will be available on January 3rd to all Hero tier patrons and above.
Public post censored to avoid upsetting Patreon's delicate sensibilities. Uncensored version for Patrons only.
Since doing a NSFW version of the model was almost impossible and just plain nonsense, I opted to include an artistic nude for anatomical painting practice instead. It just makes more sense.
• 1:10 and 1:14 scale SFW model of Lady Cassandra featuring:
• 4 head options - bald, with hair, helmet with visor up, and helmet with visor down.
• 1:10 and 1:14 scale artistic nude model for anatomical painting practice.
• 1:10 and 1:14 scale SFW model bust
• 1:10 and 1:14 scale nude bust
• 1:10 and 1:14 scale mannequin displaying Cassandra's armour with:
• 3 head options - no helmet, helmet with visor up, and helmet with visor down.
• 1:1 scale sword "Victoria"
• 1:1 scale helmet with visor separate for those wanting to articulate it.

Thank you for getting me to 450 Patrons! You're all amazing! As a thank you I modified Gunnhild to have a bust version and you will be able to find her in The Trove on January 3rd.

I guess I had just gotten lucky when Itch worked perfectly for the first month of using it as it's suffered some issues over the last couple of months. Personally, I still like Itch. It makes organising my content and keeping it up to date a lot easier and you all have access to it whenever you need it. Unfortunately, it's still susceptible to some outages every now and then and the last time I contacted support it took them 6 weeks to get back to me via email and a few days via their forum. So, while it will continue to be my primary distribution method, I now have an alternative that has been developed by one of my Patrons. I have upgraded the server so that the download speeds should be decent (won't be as fast as Itch and never will be) so long as it isn't hit by everyone at the same time.
Just be aware that if Patreon changes something and Itch goes down as a result, so will the alternative. The main bonus of this alternative is that the developer (Maey, for anyone on the Discord server), is much easier to get in contact with and so fixes should be a lot faster when compared to shouting for help in the chasm that is the Itch.io user forum.
Usual content will also be available on January 3rd (or earlier depending on the billing completion). Renders, poll sketches and Work In Progress Shots will be available through the Itch.io releases. For those who have already claimed the Itch.io Artwork and Trove release, they will be updated so you do not need to claim them again.
So, jokes about 2020 aside, I've been extremely lucky in 2020 year and I have you all to thank for it. This time last year I had a few patrons and the income from doing this was enough to buy a bottle of resin. Now it is my fulltime job and I couldn't be happier. I have plenty of ideas for new projects and I will be trying to make them a reality in 2021.
These projects include a model of Death Himself and modular bases to create a diorama for the collection of Scythebearer Sisters. And another project involving something much larger in terms of scope. Hopefully I'll get the chance to do these things, and hopefully I'll get to share them all with you guys.
Again, thank you so much for your support this year. So, Happy New Year and I hope that this year is kinder.
