June Update - Monthly Round Up

So now we're half way through the year. I wish I knew where the time went! Anyway, here's what's happening with the June update.

May Content - Now Expired

Probably the new benchmark for details in my sculpts, Katsumi was a tremendous hit. But now it's time for her to head to Gumroad with the customary 30% discount available to Patrons of all pledge levels. Links to the May Content will now be invalid.

Poll Winner: Maya, The Kraken Priestess

I've been looking forward to working on Maya. It's going to be fun working on a larger body type and the setting is going to provide a lot of options for you guys to set up an interesting diorama or opportunities for fun with resin water. I will be sculpting her throughout June and she will release in July so stay tuned for WIPs and updates.

Model of the Month: Felicia, Steampunk Gunslinger

Building upon the launch of Katsumi with her numerous variants, bust versions, 1:1 bonus charms and the texture swatch (which went down a real treat), I'll be bringing you another comparatively large release this month with some quality of life upgrades too.

Felicia, our steampunk gunslinger, will be available in (at least) 36 variants. Not only will there be the standard SFW and NSFW options, but she will arriving with options for crossbows instead of revolvers, a cat girl and fox girl version, with the full figure and the bust options (which also include 2 base options). Combining all these together gives 36 variations and even more options if mixing and matching in combined, multipart, and pre-supported options.

With all of the customization options of Felicia it seemed necessary to make switching parts easier. With the exception of the holsters and boot knife, every single part of Felicia has magnet wells to accommodate 6mm x 3mm round neodymium magnets. Even the foot pegs and the base (including the bases for the bust version) have 3mm x 1mm magnet slots so attaching her to the base need not be permanent either. The intention behind this was to make it easier to customize without having to reprint duplicate parts that would otherwise have to be glued and to make it easier to paint - simply snap everything together to get your zenithal highlights done and then snap it apart to work on individual pieces.

Also included are 1:1 scale STLs for the revolvers and crossbows (Pride and Penance) and a texture swatch that features the most prominent of textures on the model.

You can grab her from June 3rd (or as soon as the billing cycle finishes)

Trove Update: The Arbiter and Augmented Beauty Bust

The Arbiter marks a very special occasion, having surpassed the 200 Patron goal. Some of you may already be aware that I have recently handed in my notice to my employer and will be leaving my full time job at the end of July.  The increase in release output lately can be attributed to having more time at home, largely thanks to the lockdown. Leaving my full time job will enable me to continue doing so and realise my dream of working for myself as a full time sculptor. There's still a bit of a way to go yet but the future is looking super exciting as I can work on additional projects and bring them to you guys first.

Arbiter will be added to the Trove with the rest of the release on 3rd June in combined, multipart, and pre-supported STL versions with optional shoulder pads.

Additionally, in keeping with the promise I made of returning to my previous works and making bust versions of them (as long as it can be done in a way that makes sense), the bust version of Augmented Beauty will landing in the Trove too. She has two base options, simple and special, available in combined, multi-part and pre-supported options STLs (SFW  version only for this one).

Usual Content - Content Distribution Options

Usual content will also be available on June 3rd (or earlier depending on the billing completion). Renders, poll sketches and Work In Progress Shots will be available on the file shares.

Onward and Upwards Together

You all must be tired of hearing me say it but I'm going to say thank you anyway. Thank you for propelling me past the 200 Patron mark and even closer to the ultimate goal of being a full time sculptor. Having handed in my notice at work the excitement is high, but I'm also kind of terrified (in a good way). So thank you once again and I hope you're all doing well.

Stay safe and stay tuned for more updates and WIPs throughout the month.
