June 2025 update

Another month, another monthly update!

Honestly, it feels to me like time is slipping by me lately. I'm still managing to write here and there, but nowhere near what I used to. Last time, I said I would start a new project and that's still happening, but somehow I just didn't realize a month has already passed by? I must be getting old, I guess. My perception of time is getting all whack.

That aside, Weaver is getting very close to the end of part 2. All that's left is: Looting the city dungeon, a small detour, and the limit break. Hopefully it won't take me too long to write all of that...

Anyway, after this long of writing the story, I have some things to reflect on

Firstly: LitRPGs are a pain to write. Sooo many little things to remember and my methods of keeping track of everything are just not cutting it. It makes me want to go through the whole story and create some kind of log of everything all over again.

Secondly: It's a story that technically only has one character present, but at the same time, I have to keep track of a dozen of characters, their personalities, their schedules... it means that I have to be aware of what time of day it is and which people would be online and just adds more complexity to it all.

Thirdly: The system itself that I'd designed is probably even worse for me, the writer, to work with because of the achievements. The ideal way to do this kind of system would be to actually create the entire list of all possible achievements before I started writing (which I didn't do) and constantly keep checking it to see whether Nana did anything. But becase I didn't do that, I can't really add achievements for things Nana had already done without retconning things... Which also means that I need to be aware of everything she had ever done if I want to add more achievements.

In short: This is probably the most complicated story to write I've ever tried to write. x_x

Anywho, I've felt pretty guilty about the lack of content on this patreon, so I wanted to ask ya'll: Would you be interested in the various Chapter 1s of stories I've written but didn't yet continue? You could think of them as pilot episodes or something. I currently have 2 stories I could do that for.
