OP Sister Chapter 513: Baihe's True Power

“AWROOOO!” 

Snow roared, no longer carrying Baihe on his back this time. He unleashed waves of sharp frost across the monster’s back, piercing its flesh and scales with ease and lowering its body temperature, which proved lethal to fire-attribute dragon-type monsters. 

He inflicted further damage by summoning giant icicles and firing them down, impaling the monster’s massive body with multiple deadly attacks. His magical prowess had grown remarkably strong. 

And then Shiro! He spread his Sacred Divine Flames toward us, conjuring Anti-Fire Wards that granted exceptional Fire Resistance while simultaneously infusing the monster with Cursed Phantom Fire, weakening its flames and stats to a degree. 

Wow, he wasn’t just a flying potion anymore, was he? 

“Anna’s pets are amazing! They’ve become so strong!” Annabelle exclaimed happily. “I have my own pets too! I’ll bring them along!” 

Annabelle swiftly activated her [Spider Queen (S)] and [Demonic Aura Manifestation (S)] Skills, combining them to summon a swarm of dozens of giant spiders formed from her demonic aura, primarily composed of shadows and crimson light. 

The spiders grew even larger as they absorbed my Aura through Annabelle, charging toward the chimera and scaling its legs, where they began biting and injecting deadly curse venom. 

Simultaneously, Annabelle rushed forward, raising her claws to form a large sphere of darkness and demonic energy above her, then hurling it down with full force. 

“Take this!” 

BOOOM! 

She repeated the attack relentlessly, contributing in her own way without risking her life by charging too close. She had yet to trigger her transformation, likely saving it for later. 

Whenever she transformed into a gigantic spider monster, her stats and abilities skyrocketed, making her several times stronger than before, though it was highly taxing on her body and mind. 

“Sis, let’s go together! I’ll watch your back!” 

“You’re too overprotective, Kevin!” 

Kevin and Henrietta dove down, deftly dodging giant claws as they flew with speed and precision. Kevin’s spear and Henrietta’s blade sliced through the monster’s tail, cutting it apart as they landed on its blazing body, severing several tails. Then, aiming their hands downward, they merged their Magic Auras to unleash a combination Spell. 

“{Divine Sunlight Arrow}!” 

A massive arrow of Sunlight and Divine Power materialized from their combined Magical Auras, striking the beast with tremendous force. An explosion of light erupted, leaving a gaping hole in its body. 

BOOOM! 

I must say, that was impressive! I hadn’t realized they’d trained so extensively that they could conjure combination spells and techniques. Spending so long in Bestia had led me to believe nothing could compare, but the people of this world and their powers were constantly evolving. 

“It seems to be going down slowly!” Baihe said at my side, surrounded by dozens of magic circles linked by threads of runes. “Now, I’ll show you the fruit of my training too, Anna!” 

“Oh?” I glanced at Baihe, surprised, as she unleashed her strongest spell yet. 

“{Eternal Winter Spear: Fimbulwinter}!” 

FLAAASH! 

Her Magic fused with her Ki and even her Lifeforce, demonstrating why Baihe was chosen as Leviathan’s Avatar in the original story. 

Her immense magical talent shone once more, conjuring a gigantic, divine relic-like spell from thin air. 

This was no divine gift like Kevin’s spear or Henrietta’s sword. 

Nor was it a blade I’d taken from someone else, like my Gram. 

This was purely Baihe’s extraordinary magic on full display! 

“Look how strong I am!” 

She smiled confidently, launching the spear at the chimera, freezing the surrounding air as countless ice particles cascaded downward. 

“GRUOOOHHHH!” 

The monster roared, channeling its fiery power to release a shockwave, sending Jack, Henrietta, Kevin, and Annabelle flying back. I saw Hilda swiftly catch Annabelle, who had lost her balance. Hilda had been primarily handling the smaller monsters emerging from the lava again, trusting us to deal with the main beast. 

And then it struck. 

Baihe’s spear pierced the monster’s back, thrusting through its spine and into its internal organs, freezing it from the inside out. The beast spasmed in agony, its flames vanishing entirely as everyone, me included, watched in awe while the monster froze completely. 

A massive frozen statue remained, encased in azure ice that radiated a potent aura of mana and ice, which Baihe absorbed to bolster her power. 

It turned out she had gained a new ability: the power to absorb “Ice Spirit Mana” from the ice she used to freeze and consume targets, allowing her to replenish her energy during combat. 

That explained why she was such a formidable threat in the novel as a Villainess and why my brother struggled so much against her! 

Although the version he fought had fully mastered her powers and was older than the Baihe here, enhanced by Leviathan’s demonic power. 

This was Baihe at her purest, honed from the moment of her Awakening! 

“I guess I didn’t even need to step up myself, huh, Gram?” I mused. 

[“Hahaha! That brat has truly grown much stronger since the last time I saw her! Now feed me that thing’s Heart! I need it!”] 

“Is it okay if it’s frozen?” 

[“It doesn’t matter!”] 

“Alright, wait a second, though.” 

I flew down with the others, who were just as stunned as I was by Baihe’s sudden defeat of the Boss Monster. She had truly stolen the kill from me or my brother. I felt a twinge of regret for not stepping up myself, but watching everyone fight was exhilarating. 

“Baihe… what the hell was that?!” Kevin asked. “You just… finished it off?!” 

“You’re amazing!” Henrietta said. “I guess you’re already, definitely, at the level of an S-Rank Hunter, Baihe!” 

“A-Ahhh, no, no, you’re misunderstanding. I used my strongest spell ever… I usually can’t exert that much power with every attack,” Baihe explained nervously, overwhelmed by Henrietta’s praise.
