The Heavenly Martial Empress Returns Chapter 274: Interrumpting The Game

Listen While Reading: Impossible Victory
-----

As this happened, Bing Xue and her family glanced at the scene with intrigue.

“Mom, what’s going on?!” Athena wondered. “They were suddenly isolated in space?”

“It does seem to be the case…” Bing Xue nodded. “A very thick spatial domain has been created… That artifact he used, cards, right? They’re certainly bizarre. Probably from another world.”

“A-Another world they conquered?” Wondered Orion.

“Most likely,” nodded Bing Xue. “I’ll take care of it.”

TRUUUM!

Suddenly, as Djet smiled viciously while grabbing a card showing two figures swapping places, everything turned gray-colored, and he was instantly frozen, paralyzed.

“Hmm?”

As Bing Xue stepped forward, suddenly, she saw one of the books from her demonic library manifest, opening up its pages to reveal a demoness appearing from it.

The demon looked like a petite woman, wearing a blue mask for her face, with pointy black horns, long, silky black hair, and scaled arms and legs; in fact, she had scales around her entire body; even if she was nude, she didn’t look like that.

“Belze?”

Bing Xue was quite surprised the demoness appeared out of nowhere, as she’s been mostly resting and sleeping for a while. Demons were prone to sleeping whenever they were not hunting.

“Master… That thing… that power.”

Belze was uncharacteristically serious as she glanced at the strange spatial domain surrounding Hekita and Merneith, and especially at those cards Djet had pulled out of nowhere.

“The cards?” Bing Xue asked as she continued walking.

As she walked, time seemed to have almost come to a stop. To ensure the survival of Merneith and Hekita, she had spread her Aura of Time, creating a bubble that stopped time.

This didn’t work on those near her, such as Belze.

“They seem to have a large quantity of Demonic Power within them! Those are not mere magic items. Demons themselves have forged them.”

“Demons? But they come from another parallel world…”

“Parallel world, another universe, it doesn’t really matter. We Demons live in every universe and every world. And unlike other beings, we don’t have parallels. We are constant beings that live through all universes as the same. There is, after all, only one Hell.”

“The one beneath the Tower?”

“No, those are Infernal Realms created by pocketing areas from Hell into the Tower… But technically, they’re all part of the same thing.”

“Interesting… So you’re suggesting the cards are the creation of one of your peers? A friend perhaps? Have any ideas?”

Knock, knock!

As Bing Xue asked, she knocked on the immensely thick spatial barrier.

“Hmm, very thick, not as thick as the Tower’s Walls, however.”

“Any ideas? Hmm… there are a few ideas. This seems to be the work of someone that likes creating trinkets with cursed things inside, Mammon, or perhaps also Belphegor could have done this.”

“I see… I’ll gladly learn more about them from you once I get this done with.”

As Bing Xue spoke, she swung her fists forward, and the entire barrier was instantly pierced by her fists.

CRAASH!

The barrier gained countless cracks after her fist entered it but quickly began to regenerate again.

“There it is! That presence…! This barrier is definitely the work of some sort of Archdemon! To think they’ve been messing around with other worlds like this!”

As Belze seemed furious, Bing Xue quickly imbued the entire barrier with even more of her energies, using her Time Aura and her Photon Essence to destroy its internal structure entirely.

“You think you can stop me? Don’t make me laugh.”

Crack, crack…!

BOOOM!

The entire barrier exploded into pieces, as space itself began glitching strangely. Bing Xue quickly rushed towards Merneith and Hekita, noticing time suddenly began going back to its course.

“I use Ally Swap on Ra in exchange for one of my stupid soldiers! Hahaha!”

As this happened, Djet’s voice echoed within the background; suddenly the card he grabbed unleashed a bright light, hitting one of his unconscious soldiers and then Ra, making them swap places.

“Hmm?”

FLASH!

As both swapped places, Ra seemed to have suddenly changed; his eyes turned black, and his aura… was twisted, demonic power coursing through it!

“Ra?!”

Merneith, confused about what was happening as she realized Bing Xue was carrying her out of danger, realized her machine god was stolen!

“Huh?! The barrier…?! It’s gone?! What?!”

Djet was shocked, realizing the entire spatial barrier was shattered into pieces; he then glanced at Bing Xue, his eyes filled with anger.

“You…! What did you do?!”

“I am not playing games around here. I came to sightsee and relax with my family, for heaven’s sake.”

Leaving Hekita and Merneith behind her, Bing Xue appeared in front of Djet, punching his stomach with enough force to blow a hole through him.

BOOOM!

“GUH?!”

He vomited blood, feeling his guts being crushed instantly, falling to his knees while looking at his bloody hands.

“A-Aaah…! Aaagggh!”

As he screamed in horror that he was about to die, Khnum, the Golden Dragon, and Ra rushed towards Bing Xue, attacking her in unison!

“Ra?! What are you doing?! Stop!”

Merneith’s words didn’t stop Ra, as the Machine God immediately summoned two giant Solar Spears, pointing them at Bing Xue!

Powerful piercing blows hit Bing Xue’s entire body, accompanied by the mighty blunt punches of Khnum’s metallic fists, and then fiery golden flames from the Golden Dragon.

And yet…

“I’m sorry, but that won’t be enough to stop a Venerable such as myself.”

Bing Xue smiled gently as she waved her hand, manifesting a giant sword made of light and slicing the limbs off the Machine Gods, while the golden dragon was sliced into three pieces.

“W-Wha…?!”

As Khnum saw everything falling apart, he grabbed onto the cards with him; his hands, bloodied, trembled as Bing Xue noticed the “glitching” within space continue to worsen. A strange, demonic force was beginning to tear through space to reach this place.

“Bing Xue! Someone is coming!”

With Belze’s warning, Bing Xue quickly swung her hand, tearing apart Djet’s head before he could use another of his cursed cards.

CRASH!

And yet…

The card was already activated, shining brightly, as she noticed the bodies of Ra, Khnum, and the Golden Dragon’s remains floating in midair, beginning to merge into a mass of metal and flesh!

FLUOSH!

Suddenly, from within the glitching space, darkness seeped into the mass of metal and flesh; tumors, eyes, claws, and jaws began emerging from within.

“WHO… DARES… INTERRUMPT… MY GAME?!”

And a monstrous, demonic voice echoed from within.
