THE BREAKFAST CLUB - Full Length Reaction!

It's actually a sad ending because the sad fact is that they will all go back to to their lives the way they were ... That's why the girls gave and took mementos to remember their time together that day ... as always i enjoyed your reaction ... have a good day

I don't know why, but I always liked to imagine Brian coming back years later to be the shop teacher at the school and people talking about "Mr. Johnson's Shop Class" being so cool because he always talked you through how to make things work if you were having problems.

I think you'd enjoy the "sequel" St Elmo's Fire the college years. It's one of our favorite 80s films. Thanks Addie, this was fun.

I had sent Addie a message about doing all the John Hughes films as well! That should be the next poll! Let’s see…Weird Science, 16 Candles, St Elmo’s Fire, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Uncle Buck, the Vacation SAGA…Great Outdoors…

I meant one or more of them, though probably not all of them. But no to Lea Thompson? Really? 🤔

Byrd N. Hand

Nope, yeah Elizabeth Shue, Phoebe Cates and Ally Sheedy. But not the others.

If you grew up in the '80s, you most likely had a crush on her, Carrie Fisher, Phoebe Cates, Lea Thompson, and/or Elisabeth Shue. Maybe Molly Ringwald, too.

...or even The Mummy Returns (2001).

Heyyy, it’s Billy and I’m happy to take a stroll back to my younger days. (Class of ‘87) We used lines from this movie into and through College. Honestly, whenever a chat between classmates or others our age we’ve met. A number of these actors and a few who aren’t in this were labeled “The Brat Pack” and had other movies where they’re reunited. My personal favorite with a majority of them is “St. Elmo’s Fire” (1985) TBC ☑️ Ferris Bueller’s Day Off ☑️ Will you have another John Hughes for us? We can only hope!! These will always be fan favorites and a good part of my younger adult life. But… My absolute all time favorite movie of the 80’s is LADYHAWKE It’s over-shadowed by the others but it will forever have my vote. Looking forward to whatever you have in store for us. Take care, Addie!!

Hmmm... what'll be next?? 'Quantum of Solace' finally? 'Schindler's List' finally? The Manalorian S3 E4-6? Moon Knight E1-3? 'X-Men: First Class'? 'Rush Hour 2'? 🤔 I guess we'll find out Wednesday...

Most of these would make great reactions from Addie. However, I must rule out Sixteen Candles (1984) because that's a movie that she's more likely to watch outside the channel. Watch her recent Q&A and you'll know what I'm referring to.

Other John Hughes movies for Addie to check out: 'Sixteen Candles' (also starring Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall), 'Weird Science' (also starring Anthony Michael Hall), and 'Uncle Buck' (I'm assuming she's waiting on 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles' until next Thanksgiving). Plus 2 more he wrote and produced but didn't direct: 'Pretty in Pink' (also starring Molly Ringwald) and 'Some Kind of Wonderful.'

Happy Easter Monday, Addie. The Breakfast Club (1985) is my other favorite John Hughes movie after Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). I watched it because my girlfriend recommended it to me and I enjoyed it afterwards. The idea of five teens from different cliques in detention sharing their life stories that causes them to bond together and see the world around them differently afterwards is very sweet. BTW, it was also neat that you recognized the ending of the movie from having seen Pitch Perfect (2012). Stay tuned for a Q&A question related to that movie.

Happy Monday, Addie! 😊 This is one of those 80s movies that I grew up watching all the time. And it's got a great soundtrack. All of the cast members were in some really good movies back in those days. There's too many for me to recommend them all. LOL! Since there's nothing really good on tv later this afternoon, I'm going to watch this. Have a great day today! 😊
