2025-07-10 12:11:48 +0000 UTCI think Bakugo asking Deku "Why did you lose?" was him still trying to come to grips with the idea of All Might, and his perception of what it means to be the best. It's been shown time and time again that the reason Bakugo looks up to All Might is that he sees him as someone that will always win. So that question is trying to rationalize "If All Mights power meant he couldn't lose, and Deku now has that same power; how is it possible that Deku could lose to me?" He's basically his entire life with the understanding that "Being the top hero means always winning". Being absolutely bombarded the last few weeks with seeing everything he'd been certain about basically vanish; I can understand why his thoughts are running wild. (Honestly, I've had similar experiences in my life)
