Exactly and like walky and joe are part of their friend group so they are also cheating on their FRIENDS. And characters in this strip have been treated harsher for less. The way this storyline plays out is definitely going to make or break the comic for me because the only way this storyline works is if Joyce and Dorothy aren’t let off the hook and Willis is prepared to put them through the ringer

2025-07-24 09:22:05 +0000 UTCI hate this I hate that I hate this I should be happy that two girls who clearly love each other are hooking up, but the blase reaction from Dorothy and the borderline sociopathic glee from Joyce makes this arc feel like a nightmare I was hoping that they'd end up in a polycule, but now even that ending is tainted. Those only work out if you treat your partners and metamours with respect, if not kindness. I see none of that here. And don't anyone give me the "hurr it's not calling smarting of age silly" YEAH AND ITS NOT CALLED PHINEAS-GAGE-TIER-PERSONALITY-SHIFT-OF-AGE EITHER, SHUT UP

2025-07-24 05:31:53 +0000 UTCI've come to the realization that like 90% of my posts are just walkyverse references and i think this bit's run it's course. Honestly i've run out of material, i could predict the future plot but everyone's kinda covered their bases. At this point i'm just kindly holding my hands together with a smile knowing that these two are without a doubt heading upstairs to consummate their marriage and probably make things even messier doing so.
