2025-07-06 17:22:10 +0000 UTCread through the main site comments on the July 6th strip this morning and was very amused by the sheer number of people going "no, joyce and dorothy can't kiss now! there will be ramifications that send ripples through the entire main cast and ultimately upheave the status quo!" as if like. that should be at all a deterrent for anybody who wants to see an actual *story* unfold. like, OH NO, DEVELOPMENTS MAY BE OCCURRING, THE HORROR!!! [insert "What's the matter, Lagerboy? Afraid you might taste something?" beer ad here] (i mean i guess they might be feeling that way because they don't *want* this story to be occurring, but like. literally all of the tension will be deflated if they flip a switch and become Optimal Decision Logic Machines who will instantly break away so they can ask for boyfriend permission to french each other. the hormonal tension between these women is at a fever pitch, they're past the point of asking permission, i think they're gonna have to settle for asking forgiveness)
